Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Thanks. Dealer gave ETA of 8/18, which is well within the 30 days! Original order placed on 4/12.

Wasnt sure where to put this. I'm not a dealer, the dealership i'm working with Moritz KIA in Fort Worth, TX told me they've EX-P coming in on 8/18. It's Ebony black with grey interior. I'm waiting on my EX-P Sangria w/ grey interior supposed to come on 9/5 so they reached out to me I was interested in switching but I declined so to you all out here, you can jump on it. They sell at MSRP $41, 125. You can hit up my sales guy Eric @ 9034958121. Let me so I give him a heads-up as he may not answer your call if he doesnt know the number. I hope this helps someone out here.
My car was supposedly delivered on 7/31. Salesman said it wasn't on the lot when I spoke to him on 8/1 and 8/2 even though he saw that the computer listed my Telluride as being delivered. I've had no update since then. How long does it normally take for the car to be available for pickup once it is delivered? Any dealers can comment on a car being "delivered" but not being on the lot?

I have literally driven through my dealership parking lot every day for the past 3 days. I’m wondering if there’s a stalking law on cars??
I feel like I’m in a hostage situation. Mine was supposed to be delivered on Monday. As of 9:30 this morning it was NOT in the parking lot.
the husband is now talking about giving up, getting our money back and getting the Bronco.
I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN! I’ve wanted this dang car for over a year!

Jim Butler Kia in Chesterfield, MO, is my "second" dealer. First one got my order/deposit in January, 2020, but told me the order was canceled in April (They were supposed to let me know when I could place the order again, but I never heard from them --- and I have an 8-year-old Sorento I bought from them.)
Anyway, I decided to contact a larger dealer (Jim Butler.) Placed order for an EX/FWD-P. Sangria/Gray on April 12. VIN came up on Failcat on Friday, July 31. Butler has given me an ETA of 8/18. If my Telluride actually arrives around about that date, I'll be very pleased. Also, Jim Butler was very easy to deal with; sells at MSRP, with no add-ons. Has also promised to provide all-weather floor mats.
We'll see.

@StephenCantrelle Curious to hear what the delivery date trend is as of late. Postponements were pretty commonplace on account of the factory shutdown and parts shortages, but things seem to be really moving now. 8,200 Tellurides were produced in July, which is more than any other month by about 1,500. Wondering if we're starting to see Kia makeup some lost ground and deliver ahead of schedule.
GUESS WHAT?!! My car (not the one I ordered but close enough) has arrived at the dealership!
When they called, I immediately went down and looked at it. Don’t judge me! I truly didn’t believe this would ever happen.
It is the 2021 SWP SX P NE with Dune interior. It’s beautiful! I have literally hated our 2017 Buick Encore for almost 3 years! I purchased the black chrome T badge and wheel package from this site, they will be changed out in the morning along with the dealership adding crossbars and tow package. Those 2 things were what was missing from our original order. They are charging me $800 for both. I don’t even care anymore, I just want it done!
Window tinting and ceramic coating scheduled for Friday!
It’s like Christmas!!!

Congrats!! Who’s your dealer? Which state?Are you sure they’re gonna install a towing package not a towing hitch? Towing package is $750 from factory and cross bars i think like $200!

The problem is KIA is building Nightfall Editions and other dealer inventory mixed into the backlog of orders. So at this point - I think they are just treading water. My ETA has slipped twice since it was accepted a few weeks ago. Assuming @StephenCantrelle would let me and his other customers know if ETA's started moving forward instead of back. Right now - I keep seeing lots of people dropping orders to pick up the Nightfall Edition vehicles - so dealers are making deals and getting customers in their cars - just not making much headway on the custom orders in the pipeline.
Looked at Stephen's dealership on failcat and they have had 8 Nightfall Editions produced and VIN's created for his dealership this past month - so that is accounting for some of the production space that otherwise might have gone to folks like me that have had an order in with him since January. It looks like KIA prioritized Nightfall trim packages to hit dealerships since they are using that in their 2021 marketing campaign. Makes sense. At least production levels are holding steady and at the highest level since the Telluride was introduced.
