Order to delivery time

@Tobstertx3 , good call. But i ordered AFTER july 4th, meaning shopping for accessories would have been even more ridiculous! Now for the next holiday, that's a different story

@Taketime , that is gorgeous! I’m waiting on a black copper myself. I love that interior. I would have gotten that color if we got an SX.

How do you like the smart liners? This is exactly what I’m looking to buy
Thanks. Back in January after a color process of elimination we settled on the black copper sight unseen. I was nervous about buying something without seeing it but I like it and the dune brown.
I like the smart liners just fine and I got them for under two hundred dollars back in January. I believe they are around $256 now for the full set to include the cargo cover. If you don't need the cargo cover you can save some money. I looked at what the dealer sells and I thought they were a little thin. My son only buys weather tech and I was considering them until I ran across the smart liners for the full set to include the cargo liner.

FYI - I received the email below that Jason is no longer with Kia of Muncie.

Wow. That is a shock. He had to have a ton of vehicles in bound with associated commissions. Why leave now after surviving this past summer.

That will throw a fair amount of people for a loop. Hope he lands someplace amazing. Wonder if Muncie will stop selling the extended warranty to outside buyers.

I got my first ETA today. Woot Woot!! 10/20!!!!
See timeline below.
So confused, me and some others here went in July and got 10/22 ETA. So should our ETA be pushed up about a month?

My tummy just turned over. I sent him a 'please put me on the list to order' email a month ago which he acknowledged. Been waiting for a call. I hope he is okay.

Literally my thought process as I was reading through these threads! So many questions 😬
Was just today entertaining the idea of ordering & flying out there to bypass all the other wild dealer stories I’ve heard...

You may want to post this as a new Thread so people can see. Might be hidden in this one.
Yes this need to be a thread on its own... Hope all is well with him..

Big day today--I received the VIN for my EX AWD P/T! Ordered on 3/17 from Kia of Muncie (communications with Lucas have been excellent!), and ETA is 8/31. Now I just have decide on a name for the new addition to our family...
Wow, that's great. Only a couple of weeks.

Just emailed my dealer, they've been really good with responding to my emails, he responded in 15 minutes! (Peak Kia North - Dustin)
Bad news is that my ETA still hasn't changed :(

Found out today that my order has been entered into KFOS but don't yet have a VIN or delivery date. I will take this as great news today.

I'd consider that good news!

I received this email in reference to purchasing a warranty from Jason.

Lucas Boehm and I am with Kia of Muncie. I have included Craig Southerland, our finance director, in this email also. Craig will be able to help with any extended warranty questions you might have. I will be contacting Craig soon.

Thanks for this. I think I'd be in the market for the cargo mat as well. I posted about this in the all-weather mats forum and have been watching it to see other comments about their experiences. The biggest must-have was the liner that goes in between the captains chairs, which cut quite a few options out. No rush, but if you ever get around to it, I'd love to see more pictures of how they fit in your ride, including the cargo liner as I don't think I've seen much about the cargo one yet.

It was ALMOST sight unseen for us also. But we were lucky enough to physically see it on an S before we purchased. I really do like the interior with that paint choice!

The liner fits between the captains chair just fine. The cargo mat fits flush. You get full coverage from both.

@Taketime , this is great to see! Thanks so much.

Last thing - have you tried to fold the third row back up just to see how that cargo mat would crease? It's obviously not designed to work with the seats up, just figured I'd ask the question.
