Now - if they would build mine - I would bring my $50K to add to the YTD sales.
Right, take my money...In 4-6 months...smh

Just an FYI that I ordered from Elgin Kia on October 17th and I still don't have my Telluride. That's a little over 10 months ago. I will be SHOCKED if it arrives before the year mark, as I don't even have a VIN yet, just an order number from KFOS that came in a couple weeks ago. So they are not lying when they say it's gonna take a while, especially if you order an SX like me. If you are in a pickle with a lease ending, this may be something for you to be aware of, that their 8-10 month estimate might be off.
Sorry to hear that you are still waiting for yours. Yeah, that is what I am concerned about. I think the 8-10 months is real. So sadly, I will probably need to make a decision to get another car in Feb if there is no sign of getting the Telly yet...
How do I PM you or you can PM me and I will reply? The thing I don't get about KIA is SXP Production. If you look at the chart below...you can see August is on track to be the second highest SXP production month this year. The troubling thing is that back in Feb when they built 1,408 of them - they still had a 4-6 month wait list for that particular model. Until they are building about 100 SXP per day - they will never catch up at this rate. I understand they need some of the cheaper models in dealer inventory for the casual buyer looking to spend $40K on a new vehicle - but the amount of money they stand to make on SXP is far greater if they would meet market demand. It seems like they are slipping farther behind on SXP rather than catching up. Two charts production untis/sales based on MSRP for each trim/option group as of today's FC update:

ETA 09-10 to Moritz HurstHello @StephenCantrelle ! thanks for helping all members in this forum. I'm in the process of waiting for my LX, and I was hoping you can help me track the ETA for the following VIN: 5XYP24HC1MG107184
This was not a special order, rather stock that was already "FA" to my dealer, I just want to double check on ETA.
Thanks!
VIN today!
I'm not banking on it coming too much earlier if at all. They've been taking a month to make it to the dealer in ND where I ordered my first car from. I'm not sure if the Minneapolis dealers are getting them any sooner but we will see.Wow. Great news. That means you should see your vehicle well before your latest ETA. Hopefully that bodes well for all of us still waiting.
Well @MarcinTexas, the fact that my salesman liked my comment seems to solidify my theory!I'm not banking on it coming too much earlier if at all. A guy could dream though!
Looks like I looked up this Vin before.. ETA is 09-23 to Peak Kia... name is attached that isn't first name MattHello @StephenCantrelle ! I was hoping you could help me with my VIN #5XYP5DHCXMG108597. Dealer says that there isn't a VIN number created yet but I assume this has to be it due to the price and expected delivery of 9/10. Please let me know if you could help! Thanks!!
If the dealer didn't give you that VIN, how did you get it? And if you got if off of failcat, are you sure that it is yours?Hello @StephenCantrelle ! A lot of Peak Kia customers here! @Mattman55 you need to match your order with trim/color/options added... not the price. I hope it is yours, but your dealer should at least know about if before even failcat posts it.
We just had a SX with an ETA of 9.03 show up 8.24. There is a chance it shows up early.Well @MarcinTexas, the fact that my salesman liked my comment seems to solidify my theory!
It'll come when it comes. Knowing the car exists is a gamechanger in your thought process, you'll know the feeling here soon. Of course being down south, they may torture you and not build yours until two weeks prior to delivery.
