No clue! Stephen checked it for me this morning and updated me!With a VIN created Aug 11th? Transportation issues?
Does he have a VIN?
Presuming as it says that in his Signature.

Lol no no, Stephen is just helping. I’m in Michigan, ordered from a dealer here. I don’t think I would be waiting that long with Stephen.A fellow @StephenCantrelle customer! Are you in the DFW area or are you traveling in for your car?

From what I’ve seen over and over in this forum, if you are willing to pay more you get it faster—but then you have to live with the fact that you paid more, of course.I'm happy for you, however this is what frustrates me about this process. I ordered a SXP w/tow back in January and my latest ETA is 10/27. How is it that someone that ordered 6.5 months ahead of me has an ETA 17 days sooner than me. There is something seriously wrong with the process. And my order was accepted into KFOS before you even submitted yours! @StephenCantrelle do you know if they are prioritizing Nightfall Prestige builds ahead of regular SX Prestige builds?
For comparison...here are his order ETA dates with his trim - compared to mine in my signature:
2021 SX AWD N/T/P - Gravity Gray/Gray Nappa
Ordered 7-30
Entered into KFOS - 8-25
ETA 10-10
This just doesn't make any sense.

Kia has enabled this...first with the EX Premium package, and now with the Nightfall package. They produced tons of these trims as soon as they were introduced. Same thing with the paint...nobody seems to mind (except for me I guess) paying an extra 400 bucks for a different shade of paint...so it seems most of the Tellys produced have it. As long as you keep in mind it’s all about the MONEY, everything makes sense!
I’ve had a NE order in Kdealer for the last 2 months and no sign of advancing to KFOS. Seems to me the only way to get one sooner is scooping up a FA before it hits the lotFrom what I’ve seen over and over in this forum, if you are willing to pay more you get it faster—but then you have to live with the fact that you paid more, of course.

Approx 5000 SX AWD have been built in the last 2 months. Over 2000 of those are Nightfall. One could conclude that Kia bet heavily on the Nightfall being popular and set up their supply chain accordingly while mostly ignoring the huge backlog of customer orders for non Nightfall.
My ETA is still holding firm at 10/20...hopefully it doesn't slip...
Even if you had the money...would you really want to pay more? As badass as the Telly looks, and even with all the great features of the SX, it’s still just a FWD-based family SUV. It doesn’t have any real performance or high-tech suspension. And let’s face it, cars wear out, and faster than ever these days because of the high-tech explosion. I’m looking at the dashboard of the new Sedona and the Telly is already starting to look dated.Believe me - I get it. Its just sad because with my trim and options I am already near the top of the price point for the Telluride. I understood during the COVID shutdown that things were out of KIA's control. But now production rates are as high as they have ever been. It truly does feel like they are pushing dealer inventory and new trim options ahead of orders from this past winter.

I personally think the next gen Pilot and Highlanders are going to shock us all.No - I don't want to pay more - I was just saying from a corporate perspective - if they were prioritizing higher value models - mine would be included.
Oh...and yeah...the Sedona makes just about everything in KIA's portfolio look really dated. I sure do hope that KIA brings the full digital dash to the US market. If they do - it will shame everything else in the segment for years to come. It seems with each new product KIA is hitting it out of the park over and over. I love the Sedona and hope the market responds.
Highlander is all new this year.I personally think the next gen Pilot and Highlanders are going to shock us all.
Mostly due to the push Kia made with the Telly.
