What's going on with production? 93 vins??? Did they get an early weekend for the holiday?

lol I feel the pain! I texted my sales guy telling him the car is in transit(I know it should be the other way around) he called me after 10min, he said he spoke to his sales manager and he told him the car should be there either tomorrow or after the holiday! I’m not sure when did it get on the truck but a quick search on google shows that it usually takes 2-4 days for shipping a car from Georgia to Michigan.

I'm talking with dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and they're telling me that there's no good ETA if I wanted a SX Prestige Nightfall in wolf gray. One has said maybe as soon as four months, most others have said four to six months. Does that sound about right, or would it likely be longer? My lease on my current car expires in April, so I'm in no hurry, and would actually be happy if it took six months!

sounds about right. the good thing for you is that KIA is producing the NF a lot. Could it go 7-8 also possible.

Regarding production it’s way more than that. Vin numbers are 814 more than what they were 2 days ago. Average 407 new vin a day which is still good. Not a lot showing on failcat, assuming they’re focusing more on Canada and overseas.

Haha....I hope she actually likes it. This SUV is for her and she never even test drove it. Coming from 20 years of Lexus RX, new one every 3 years.

It took so long that i got a crush on that Genesis GV80. But who knows when that will drop into showrooms.

Ultimately, i am sure we will be happy and look forward to enjoying the Telly. Especially since the weather should cool down a little here in the next few weeks.

Well, I have finally taken another step in my journey. I received my VIN today. Its not on failcat yet but it looks like it will be soon as its only about 120 ahead of the newest VIN on the site. There is a possibility that I will have it in my driveway in under a year but I don't really care at this point and I am not holding my breathe. But this was certainly good news.

After one year three weeks and two dealerships later we finally got our Telly yesterday. It’s a dark moss fwd EX with tow package, mud flaps and floor mats. Because the wait was long, the order changed to a 2021 model. We paid MSRP plus options and shipping for a total of $39, 680. It was worth the wait!

Order placed 3/12/20 for EX-P/T in Gravity Gray. VIN hit fail cat on 8/12 and it arrived at dealer in Michigan on 8/31 and I drove it off lot last Tues on 9/1. Loving it, just updated navigation and software, as it doesn't come with latest version, even from factory this past week.

I got mine from Kia of Lansing. They told me their normal dealer addendum is $1500, but they cut it $500 due to my wait. The dealer addendum did include nice all-weather floor mats and an emergency kit, it would have been nice to know that good floor mats were included in the dealer addendum, before they let me include carpeted floor mats in my order, but not too big a deal, and at the end of the day a pretty good buying experience. First new car I've ever bought.

Congrats, glad you’re loving it. What brand is the all weather mats. I’m getting mine for MSRP I doubt they’re gonna add anything. I have a really bad experience with 2 dealers here and still getting it from one of them. I already bought smartliner mats and mudguards to put them in when it comes.

I believe these are Kia's OEM all weather floor mats for the Telluride. They are made by Kia and say Telluride on them. They look like they will do pretty well in northern climates.
