It seems to me that Nutley customers have been pretty happy overall with their experience from what I've seen on here. I don't know about wait times. Nightfall may speed things up.

If it's in the system, your salesman should be able to give you an ETA. If you aren't in yet, it will depend on how many people are ahead of you waiting for an allocation.

You haven't heard anything but have you tried reaching out? KFOS likely opens next week so you'd think they'd know if you were in for Aug or Sept by the end of next week or beginning of the following week.

The dealer has been great, just haven't heard anything. However, this may be just because there is no news.

I did call them 3 weeks ago, he said it was in production. I'm unsure of what that means as he didn't provide further explanation. I did ask him for a VIN, but he said there wasn't one that he had.

I'll call the salesman tomorrow about an ETA. Thank you for the advice, I've never been in this position before on waiting for a car. Having the help of the forum has been nice.

Allocations in Kdealer are based on the a number of things.
1. Number of Tellurides in FA (FACTORY ALLOCATED),IT (IN TRANSIT), DS (DEALER STOCK) so if the dealer is at its 90 days supply you wont earn as much.
2. Number of Tellurides sold. Example; if the dealer sold all its Tellurides, the kdealer earnings will be much larger.

There are a couple of dealers in our area with Tellurides in stock. (because of high mark ups). Ultimately this will hurt their allocations/earnings.

KFOS:
Same kind of rules, but according to our KIA rep. They run a report 18days before KFOS opens. So if the dealers 90days supply is "20" and theyve sold "10" as long as all "10" have been reported sold before KIA runs the KFOS earnings report, the dealer should get "10"

Kdealer orders are deleted every 30days. It up to the dealer to do the right thing and keep track of older orders and continue to place them in Kdealer.
Example: If you placed an order for a SX P on 07-07-2020 its loooong gone UNLESS the dealer is re entering the order. So my advice; just keep checking in with your dealer ...here and there...

If it weren't for the huge price difference and the tiny third row...I would have jumped to the GV80 wait list as well.

I placed an order with my dealer 8/21. I assumed that I had missed the August KFOS window and was hoping to hear that my order would be placed next week but I actually heard today they were able to place the order 8/24, it was accepted 9/8 and are now expecting my vehicle in the next couple weeks! I am perplexed but somewhat happy. Bummed I missed out on .9% but no guarantee that would have come back in Nov/Dec when I was originally hoping to get it. EX AWD with premium pkg.

This is the only time I have ever seen this stated. Looks like a Dealer posted this but from what has been explained about Kia's Ordering systems it makes no sense that orders in KFOS would get deleted and have to be added back.

I sure wish mine would drop. I am 32 days from my ETA and nothing. Getting nervous that my ETA is going to slip. I have seen others with later ETAs than mine post that their VINs have shown up.

Mistake me if I'm wrong those that did have VINs show had NE package.

Just like rawrali just posted, I too ordered on Aug 23 and was just informed today my ETA is 10/11. Based on all the other posts in this forum, I wasn't expecting an October delivery - January maybe.

If Stephen Cantrelle reads this post - any chance you can contact me and run a quick search on my VIN# to see if my dealer is just pulling my leg on ETA?

If you aren't actually allocated with an order # - a NOV ETA is very bull-ish.

Yes I agree it is trim specific so can't really rely on the ETA. So far I am told it is a possibility of early November but since I am so anxious I believe it to be beginning of November
