Order to delivery time

My dealer said ordered was accepted and pulled for production, that was April 17, how long after that should it take before delivery? Telluride S awd 7 passenger seating in black on black.
 
I just got a call from my dealer - my SX AWD Everlasting Silver is going into production now (ordered March 23). Should be finished building by this Thursday(!) and then may take most of May to get from Georgia to northern Illinois.

Apparently they ship them and then they sit in lots along the way for 3-5 days at a shot, he said...
 
Just talked to GM. My vehicle is sitting in Kansas City at a big distributor lot waiting to be shipped to Iowa. Been there for a week. They have talked to their rep about getting it out but they cannot push it through any faster. I do feel better that they at least know where it is. I'm signing paperwork tonight to ensure I get founders club. What an f-ing nightmare this has been though.
 
He did say if it's not here in a week he would then cover a rental. He also said if I wanted to walk away it was $1500 more in his pocket since they are selling them for that over MSRP and I have MSRP. Kind of a dick thing to say but I know he's right.

Although that may be true, that is a dick move especially with you being frustrated.. well at least you have peace knowing it isn’t sold.. good to know
 
Good to know your getting it Taco. However you saying the dealer is now telling you he is selling $1500 over MSRP to anyone else will have me
looking at Cedar Rapids and Dubuque instead to order.

Are you in the DSM area? I had a bad experience with DSM. I went to Omaha instead. Great to work with and reasonable!!!
 
I am in Ames. I am going to head to Des Moines to test drive one Monday (if they still have one in stock) but I was going to look around anywhere within a 3 hour drive or so. I was going to do the email route but made the mistake of filling out one of those sams club/Amex/truecar etc things and the Cedar Rapids dealership checks in on me twice a week now. Offered me $3500 in incentives to order through them ($1000 conquest, $1500 financing, and $1000 to order) but I told him I was not ready to discuss price yet. Hopefully test driving on Monday then I will contact Omaha, Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, and see what I can get.

DSM only had one on lot and I believe it's a Black LX. It's been there a while I think. They sold the Sangria one.
 
I think we are going to order a moss green S AWD and probably immediately powder coat the wheels. The wife wants Sangria or Moss Green. I would like the SX but not sure I like it $10000 more, LOL. We are coming from an 2012 Acadia Denali. Wife likes the captains chairs.... so those are the 2 trim choices. Pretty sure she will like the test drive and I can get down to the business of buying one.

Omaha gave me MSRP then the incentives, plus some extras. No need to pay over MSRP in our area.

They all drove the same- same engine. The difference would be the interiors and features. I was in an SX and I don’t think there is any going back once you sit in that one!

I got MSRP, conquest, and Kia Finance rebate plus founders club first payment.

I ordered the first week in April. Am I able to qualify for Founders? Did I order too late or is it too late to ask about it with my dealer?

You have to take delivery and since my car is in their system and today was the last day for it they were able to still give me it. Do you already have yours?

My dealer confirmed ordering was good enough and I would qualify for founders from my early April order.

You do NOT have to take delivery. Kia is honoring Founders Club on orders as long as the information is provided by April 30. I have one on order, due mid-June, and they are honoring my certificate. Contact your dealer ASAP - they should still honor it!

How did you get founders certificate, I have subscribed but haven’t got anything yet. Does anyone has this certificate extra, I have ordered mine SX couple of weeks ago.

I got an email on March 7 with the offer. Don’t know what to say other than you had to be signed up before March 1, not really anything else to do. If you did that, check your junk or spam folders or contact Kia and see what they say.
