• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Sales manager indicated a late September early October delivery.
EX, AWD, Glacial White Pearl, Towing Pkg, Mud Guards, Wheel Locks, Auto Dim Home Link Rear View mirror

Where did you order at? I can't find anyone to take a order right now

Ordered at Beyer Kia, Falls Church, Virginia. I also understand they are taking orders at Chantilly Kia, Chantilly Virginia.

Just curious, did you have to pay over MSRP, at MSRP, or less? Wanted to get a gauge since I am going in this weekend to try and test drive, and maybe put an order in.

As a three time Beyer customer I will pay no more than MSRP and with my Veteran & loyalty discounts, and any other special incentive programs such
as financing cash back I expect to pay a little under MSRP. The current build price from KIA was $42,025 including destination chg of $ 1,170.

Congrats! Beyer is the closest dealer to me but when I first walked in, back in the winter, I think, I was told they mark-up and was given no reason to think they wouldn't. It was super early in my search (long before I found this board) and I wasn't down to brass tacks and OTD pricing at that point. Awesome that you can take advantage of veteran and loyalty discounts.

To @superk1977 , as I have searched around, the closest dealer I found that would sell without a mark-up is Jones Kia in Bel Air, MD.

If you go back to Beyer see Omar Pinto. I have found him to be very honest and he has always worked to give me the best deal he can.
Also the Sales Mgr. is Bobby Wallace who I found to be a straight shooter. Tell them Joe sent you.

I ordered my Telly on April 9th and it is still on the list for production. I would love love love to have mine by late September early October. The dealership told me probably December.

Jen P That is just crazy having to wait that long. I know the factory had to drop down to one shift vs the three they were running (Covid) as their part suppliers
were impacted and they couldn't get the parts for production. My dealer received their first 2021 T rides earlier this week ahead of their scheduled delivery dates.
Perhaps your dealers allotment affects their delivery of T rides. Good luck

@PrayTelly thanks for this! I'm about to go in to a dealer in Elgin, IL this weekend and they seem to have about $3-$5K markup on the MSRP (at least when I check their inventory).

It's a couple hours drive but you might consider ordering from Finnin Kia in Dubuque, IA. They are selling at MSRP for orders and they have been very good to work with. I just reached out to them last week and they were able to get my order into KFOS the next day. There was only one order ahead of mine. I am working with Keri. Definitely something worth considering if you aren't wanting to pay the markup.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Are you out that way? The dealer I settled on (due to having an unallocated SX with the colors and options we want) is in OH. If your based in IL, I would suggest checking out Halleen KIA, either North Olmstead (Cleveland) or Sandusky.

I figured something like that happened at the factory. Hopefully I will be getting it sooner than later.

Ordered 7/18/20 EX AWD, GWP/Black, Wheel Locks, Mud Guards,Tow Package
Order accepted by KIA within a week.
Just received update from sales manager ETA 9/30/20
Looks like factory catching up somewhat with demand.

I put my deposit down on 8/1/2020. Dealership notified me of 10/9/2020 delivery. I've been checking once a week for changes, it's moved back to 10/25/2020. We'll see.......

Ugh. I am hoping for 10/4 delivery but my hunch tells me it will also be delayed.
