95 total Tellurides this year. Looks like about 20 SX-P's total out of the 95 allocated. Maybe 3/month.

I placed an order with them earlier today as well. Black/Black nightfall SX Prestige. From all of my research they are one of the best Kia dealers in the state.

Yep, that's what I saw, about 3 per month. Back in Feb they got 6.

Who did you place an order with? The person I spoke this morning told me they are not taking SXP orders and is not replying my emails. I am going to call in the morning and ask for someone else.

I placed my order with Ryen, a week before that I was working with Troy. He told me he would contact me as soon as ordering opened up for the SXP. After a week, I called again and Ryen said ordering is open...I was a bit pissed that Troy never got back to me because I obviously don't want to be #100 or whatever in line.

Where there may be some confusion... I was told that cannot order an SXP unless its a SXP Nightfall edition. Maybe this is where people are getting the run around?

You may be right on that assumption. I too was told that it had to be and SXP with Nightfall as well. I was also told that there is a slight chance that it could come in in September but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that one. Would be super sweet though.

So confused, dealership here in Texas says they cant order any specific units. So frustrating. I just want to be put on a list and wait, I'm fine with waiting. Just need to be on "the list"

Yeah, talked to Stephen from this forum, he helped me out a good bit but I don't wanna pay 3k markup. The dealer that told me that is also on the list, Moritz Kia near Dallas. They are doing $898 markup but that actually includes pinstriping and tint. So at least I would get something out of it lol.

Aww man! There are some others that sale at MSRP and ship (you pay shipping also). There are even some threads that list dealer inventory when they have a vehicle avail that isnt spoken for. I have seen some vehicles that are avail. None fit my specs though or I may have taken one. I'm still going to watch though, you never know.

I would be open to shipping, no idea how that would impact registering the vehicle and all that. Might have to look into that, thanks.

That is a correct assumption. I just put down a deposit with Hendrick Kia of Cary for an SXP with Nightfall. The color codes are SWP and GYT so that must be Snow White with Gray Interior. If you want Prestige you have to get the Nightfall. The option group for my order is 045. Since the deposit is 100% refundable I am not worried. If I find the car somewhere else I will get the refund back. However, I doubt I can get the car anywhere else without paying market price. In Florida they are asking between $2,000 and $5,000 above MSRP. I am getting exactly what I want so if it takes 6 moths or a year I am okay with that. Above all I am happy I am only paying MSRP. Now I have to be patient and wait for that beauty to arrive. For everyone else find a dealer that sells MSRP and pay the deposit so you are on a list. A one way plane to NC is $45, no big deal.

Hi I ordered an EX a couple weeks ago and the dealer told me eta would be 4 months. I think it may take longer than that. Did they give you an ETA?

I was told the standard 4-6 months but could happen sooner.

Just ordered mine from Amanda @I-25 Kia in CO She was super nice, said the wait was 4-6 months, and walked me through the entire process. They sell at MSRP and shipping is around $1 a mile, I figure. Glad to finally be on "the list", don't mind waiting at all. Gives me more time for a larger down payment anyways.

not sure where you live but @Mweiland does the same thing as Amanda and has a shorter allocation list. At MSRP.

He did get back to me, but I had already placed the order. He told me 4-5 months so yeah maybe a little shorter timeframe. Thanks though, appreciate it.

I placed an order with them a few weeks ago (SX non-P). Ryen told me that they hadn't opened up orders for it yet but that they could order a NE right now if that's what I wanted. Tempting, though hard to justify the extra cost when we decided we didn't need the prestige package. What he said could be accurate in that I have X amount of people ahead of me for ordering otherwise. Hard to tell.

Made the switch and got the order in today. Feels good, man. Actually came around on the NE the more I looked at it.
