• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello all,

3 days ol fresh off the lot. Shame on me didn't catch it then, but did in the sunlight. It is either bunched up padding under the leather or a firm part protruding through. Anyone else run into this? I have reached out to the dealer and waiting to hear back. Thanks!

I would say it is what it is. I know that sounds trite, but coming from German made cars, the Korean manufacturer has done a lot of things right, but there are still some area's that don't match up, particularly fit and finish. I have seen that that in my panel gaps on my hood, the use of hard plastics in areas of wear and tear, and other minor issues. I would be shocked if the dealer did anything about the seat. Sure it looks bad, but not bad enough to replace. And that is about your only option. I try to focus on the gain I am getting for size, accident avoidance technology, ride quality and try not so much on cosmetic issues. As its been said before, the Telluride offers much as an $70-80K SUV can offer, but comes up a bit short in some places.

Thanks for your response, it is fair. I agree and can live with some of the shortcomings that you might experience due to the bargain price vs a luxury SUV, just not too sure I can live with this one, front and center with 50 miles on the car. I too am in sales and I can't just say to my customer, sorry about that minor issue on your major purchase, but hey it was cheaper than the other really expensive option you were considering from my competition, so don't sweat it, you get what you pay for, right? Not unless I never want that customers business again.

Maybe check with the service manager if the back plastic panel of the seat can be popped off so you can get in there and straighten out the padding.

Replacing the whole seat would be excessive though if that is indeed the only option.
