• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We purchased a 2022 Telluride SX with Prestige Package a couple days ago. We linked our phones via bluetooth (a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 & an iPhone 12 Pro). Our contacts appear, but we do not see any way to access our Favorites. We don’t have this issue on my 2020 Subaru, or our previous 2019 Honda Passport. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone have suggestions? We are not using Android Auto or Carplay.

You may need to manually assign favorites from the call screen.

Thank you for your reply. We don’t have the favorites icon. Only the contacts icon without the star. It’s the same for both phones.

When you go into your bluetooth setting and tap on Kia Motors, do you see these options and are they enabled if so? Will probably look similar but not exact for the Samsung phone.

Here is that screen on both the Samsung and iPhone. iPhone is very similar to what you posted, and shows favorites checked, but there is no favorites icon on the infotainment screen for either phone. (I’m not in the car right now, so calls and audio don’t show as connected, but it does when we’re connected in the car).

I’m sorry this is happening to you, too. Please update if you find a solution. We still don’t have this resolved. Our dealer is about an hour away, so we haven’t brought it in yet.

Just wondering if anyone else that installed the new update also lost favorite icon. It would be helpful if anyone can check to see if they lost this function and post here if you lost it or still have favorite icon.

I just purchased Telluride SX Prestige and have no Favorites stars or icons and they are checked in my Bluetooth settings.

Was anyone able to figure this out yet? So frustrating. Thanks to this Forum I don’t think I’m crazy bc I couldn’t see any of the star/icons that the tutorials were taking about.

Same here. Any solutions?

I called Kia customer service, and was transferred to their Kia connect representative. They were not very helpful. The representative claimed that KIA probably removed this feature from the update. But I don't believe that is true. As I've seen videos of the 2022 infotainment system online showing the feature there. And why would they remove that anyway?

My new 2022 SX (in Canada) is also missing the Phone Favorites. Took delivery Sep. 19/22.

Interesting thread. I have a 2023 SX-Prestige and don't have the favorites either. Bluetooth is setup properly. I reviewed the infotainment manual that came with the Telly and while it's in the manual, it indicates *if equipped. So based on past responses it looks like they probably had it in a prior version of the software and removed it with an update and for some reason have kept it out. I guess they reserve the right to add it back at some future point. Pretty silly if you ask me. Just about any car I've seen has a favorites area. I'm used to having the favorites being the default window into the phone app. Based on the manual, even if you have the favorites screen, looks like it would default to recent calls.

Not a deal killer at all but certainly leaves me scratching my head! Still love my new Telly!!!

The manufacturer has eliminated the favorites button, they say to use voice recognition button instead!
