Yeah, I don't get why cars need rain sensing wipers. Just another gizmo to breakdown later down the road. If you can't see the rain drops in front of you on the windsheild, then it's time to quit driving. lol
- Same reason why we have Auto DRL, Auto Headlights, Auto climate control, Auto Cruise control, Auto transmission, so you don’t have to think about it. eventually Autonomous cars.
- When you are driving in scattered shower conditions. No need to turn it on and back off every time you pass a rain cloud.
- When it’s not raining but roads are wet, and the car in front of you is kicking up rain onto your windshield.
- When you are driving in a storm and the rain intensity fluctuates, fast rain to light rain. No need to adjust the speed of the wipers.
