I Just went on the Kia website to price my options out for an SXP. The Prestige Package has gone up to $2300.00!!

At first I thought you were saying the price went up by $2300. The total is still around $46k, so isn’t the increase relatively small?

Honestly, how much did it go up by? Not in the market right now so I have no idea.

Correct, and SX trim went up $300, and destination went up $75. All in, a $675 increase for SX with Prestige Package. See the thread in post #4.

They're still producing VIN's tied to the old pricing in some cases. I've seen both on the VIN scraper site lately. Prob. depends on when the dealer had the allocation for order or something along those lines.

Regardless, you might get lucky and find an SXP out there that someone backed out on the order, etc.. and get the old pricing like I did yesterday. Either way, $600 price increase isn't much in the grand scheme. This thing could easily sell for way more than what Kia prices them out at (and unfortunately some shady dealers think that too).

You are exactly right. They are being marked up 3-8K in my area. I found a dealer willing to order me one at MSRP or there is one immediately available at a different dealer with exactly what I want but a 3K markup. Shopping for this vehicle has been quite a learning process
