0 on Failcat yesterday and only 26 today. What gives???

No failcats just broken. I built my own to monitor SX’s and production looks great. I see failcats latest sequence number as 263680 and mine shows 264176 and counting.

The question to you is "were any picked up by you yesterday?" If so, failcat might have a problem. If not, failcat starts an update once a day in the evening and might pick up what you posted tonight.

Any reason you are tracking separate from Failcat? I am trying to track Failcat (and pull historical data) to see if the 12 month projection I got from the dealer is right. My dealer is MN014 and I am 3XX in line, in 2021 that dealer got 285 units according to Failcat. But, now I am wondering if Failcat is missing data.

Few reasons, the first was my wife wanted to see this near real-time so because i'm only pulling SX AWD's it limits how many potential vins I need to check and second, failcat has missed a lot in the past. I bold and alert on any from the dealership I ordered from and in the past 2 weeks I see 9 but failcat shows 6. Also a few days ago they only collected EX's for some reason but the biggest reason was the wife wanting to check every 15 minutes

Fair enough. Care to share how you do it? I only care about one dealer.

Might want to ask to take over Failcat and update script. Failcat has been run by volunteers from this forum since day 1. Just saying we might be due a passing of the baton.

Interesting as well. Ordered from MS16 ex-pn. Curious what data tables or APIs you’re tapping into to do this. Or if you’re creating your own table by crawling a site for new window stickers.

Iterating through the possible VIN's, specifically VDI & Sequence numbers and checking if the window sticker exists
