• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I took the Telluride to the car wash and put the key fob in the cup holder. When I got home I pulled into the garage and got out without locking anything as I was going to install the front plate bracket. When I was done with my install I found the Telluride locked. I looked around the garage for the fob for a few minutes since I didn't think it was possible to have the Telluride lock with the fob inside. But eventually I peered through the window and the fob is still sitting there. I tried pressing the button on the door which should unlock the car since a fob is nearby but nothing happens.

Since I'm home I have access to other fob but am worried that this might happen again in less forgiving situations. Is this a known glitch with the car or the module? Does this indicate a fault somewhere with install or module?

I've also reached out to the module vendor to see if they have an opinion.
