  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Q about Failcat and dealers

Are the VIN numbers of custom orders listed on the dealer’s failcat page? I ordered a custom nightfall back in November and every VIN on my dealer’s page goes straight to his lot/website to sell. If any of the VINs were custom orders, I would assume they shouldn’t show up on his site as “for sale.” I’m worried he hasn’t placed my order and is giving us the runaround. Already paid $500 non-refundable deposit. (His dealership is small - averaging 6 VINs listed per month ... Kia Fairfax VA if you’re wondering.) Thanks!

Working fine for this noobe! Since we've been looking for our first SUV, I've conversed with a few sales folks. I seriously doubt that they are unaware of failcat. Without mentioning it I've emailed a few with questions on incoming units by vin and all have answered with expected date of arrival. But surely they know!

Was at a Kia dealership yesterday for an oil change on my 21. The sales team was huddled up going over their list of inbound 2022s with VINs. I bet failcat will have a bunch of scraping to do today!

@thomaspgreene @StephenCantrelle will there be a delay before it starts scraping 2022 VINs? Thanks!
It’s Druke who has the baton. I know he is working on things as I have sent him over some info to update. He may comment when he has everything live
