  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... This afternoon, I reserved an incoming 2022 Telluride SX AWD in Black Copper, with the Prestige Package and Dune Brown Interior, by getting off the phone with the dealership's digital sales concierge, jumping into my current car, and immediately racing 19 miles to the dealership to put my name down before the Telluride in transit could be "sold" to someone else just walking in off the street. No cash deposit was required -- just a photocopy of my driver's license, but I had to do it in person. This was actually a pretty tense expedition -- like a silly airport chase at the end of a rom-com movie -- because of a bad experience I had at a perfidious dealer earlier this week. I'll provide more details with a longer post after I get the Telluride, which could be within a week, I'm told.

I'm in the greater Pittsburgh area, and chose this Telluride forum because it appears to be the busiest of all those I checked. Do the stats bear that out? Anyway, I've found a lot of great, well-informed discussion here, so I'm happy to be aboard.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Telluride! What will the Telluride be replacing for you? I'm glad you found us. :) Yes, this is, by far the busiest Telluride website/forum community. We don't have a very big "welcome wagon" - but the discussions are always flowing.

A Jeep Cherokee Limited. The Jeep is in great shape and is only three years old, but I decided I need something with more passenger room in the second row, so I can accommodate multiple tall adults at the same time.

The Telluride is now in my garage, so I guess that concludes my introduction. :) I will start a new thread with a description of the buying process and any other initial comments.

The dealer called me today and said the Telluride has arrived and will be ready for pickup tomorrow.
Congrats! How many excuses have you made to keep going back to the garage to sneak a peek?
