• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... New 2024 x pro and the little plastic tow bar access cover will not sit flush. Dealer can't seem to get it right. Any ideas..

Are you talking about the cover to the hole where you screw in the towing hook? There is on one the front and rear bumper?

If so, I've never tried removing it to have to get it to sit flat again. So, I'm not a lot of help. Now, I want to go see what happens if I remove the cover. LOL But I don't want to see what happens if I can't get it to sit flush again.

Yup, I never opened it. I can push it so it sits perfectly flush, but as soon as I drive it, it pops out about 1/8".

Ugh. Sounds like whatever "latch" it has isn't working correctly. I'd be bugging the dealer to figure it out. So sorry!

It's documented with the service writers, my 4th kia. It's a tiny issue but it's a new Telly so it will be fixed even if they have to replace the whole back end facia.
