My biggest issue with purchasing a Telluride is with the dealer service and paint quality.
My 2010 Sedona is a mess when it comes to the paint. Dozens of chips and bad fading on different sections of the car. KIA will do nothing under warranty, even just months after purchasing.
Second is dealer service. The mechanics, at least at my dealership, are inept. For example 3 trips to fix back up camera, 5 times ( still not fixed by the way) for the sliding door not closing properly and 3 times for auto trans oil leak at electrical connector.
I shudder to think what problems they will have repairing a car as technically complex as a Telluride
First off welcome to the forum and for your first post.
A 2010 Kia is exactly that a 2010 Kia. Kia is light years away from where it was 10 years ago as I have been with Kia for 11 years (summer of 09) I witness the changes first hand.
Did you buy it new and months later had paint issues?
That 100% is covered under warranty.
Sounds to me you may have had a bad location to work on your Sedona. Most people who have had Kia’s in this forum can attest they are extremely reliable without any issues. I had 3. 2013 Kia Optima 2015 Kia Optima Hybrid amd 2017 Sorento and have only done oil changes on them.
The brand as a whole has come along way with cars like the Cadenza, K900 and Stinger have been out before the Telluride with the same features of the Telluride.
So in my opinion Techs will be just fine.
