Are you asking if you can rebadge a Nightfall edition? The nightfall already has a somewhat darker KIA badge as part of the package. I haven't seen it in person but if you don't like that the darker nightfall KIA badge, i'm sure you can swap that out for one of the aftermarket badges sold in this forum store page and elsewhere. Is there a way to rebadge the nightfall where the new badge would match the nightfall version and not the regular

Any suggestions for me. I’ll have an ES nightfall sxpGot it. So yes, check out the Telluride Store link at the top of this page. There are all types of aftermarket badges to choose from. I switched the originals on front and back of mine with the KLexus black carbons. They look good on the SWP but I'm considering switching out the all black one on the front with the Vintage K 3D Black Chrome which may look better with the silver in the SX grill to give it some contrast. I really like the all black carbon fiber badge on the back that matches the black plastidip I applied to all of the lettering.
Happy shopping.
My ETA is October 3rd. Was pleasantly surprisedDepends on your preference but i assume if you are getting the nightfall package, you want as much of the non painted areas to be black. So the Klexus black carbons would achieve that look. All personal preference i guess. i assume you'll have some time to decide if you just ordered, unfortunately.
Great write up, thank you for that. Question did the klexus badge you got here have sticky back or oem tabs to click directly in?I replaced my MY21 Nightfall front badge and took some pictures along the way. Like others have mentioned, the videos on Youtube show the front badge having 2 pieces (mounting bracket and the KIA badge) but the Nightfall grill does not have a mounting bracket. The badge goes directly only the grill.
I used a small flathead screwdriver that I wrapped in electric tape to keep scratches to a minimum. I also put painters tape on the rim around the badge to protect from scratches. The second picture shows where I inserted the screwdriver to break the first of 4 tabs. I had to press hard to get the screwdriver under the badge and then inserted the first pry tool. It took a few tries to apply enough pressure to break the tab but once it snapped, I was able to insert more pry tools to break the other 3 tabs. If you look at picture 6, you will see 4 square holes in the grill (at 1, 4, 8, and 11 o'clock). Those are the locations of the plastic tabs where you are breaking. Picture 6 also shows (if you look closely) a slight scratch on the rim of the badge where I pried off the badge. Picture 7 shows the slight scratch on the NE badge as a result of prying. Picture 8 shows the final product. To my eye, you can barely see the scratch on the rim and being that it is on the underside of the badge, you wont see it at all.
As a side note, I did start this project by attempting to remove the grill but realized the grill does not appear to be a separate part. The entire front bumper / grill appears to be one piece. I could be wrong as I only looked at it for about 5 minutes.
Total project time was 20 minutes (including the 5 minutes discussed above).
The rear badge came off very easily once it was heated up. Watch the videos on youtube for the rear rebadging, as others suggest.
They have the 3M sticky back. Fairly easy to apply. You just need to dry fit it first to get an idea of how you want to place it before you make it permanentGreat write up, thank you for that. Question did the klexus badge you got here have sticky back or oem tabs to click directly in?
Any tricks on the front emblem? I couldn't tell if there were any nicks in the grill.
Can you link to the badge you purchased? It looks like it has some gloss to it. Like that it matches the other lettering.I gave the emblem swap a shot. Turned out pretty good.
Below is definitely the best YouTube video to remove the back emblem. Didn't ruin paint at all and only needed a hair dryer. I was done in about 15 mins total for front and back. Totally changes the overall look IMO.

Hey KML...I assume you took the same approach as sgbullets and just popped off the front badge with a flathead and trim tools. Breaking the clips to get it off. I just dont think its worth the time to take the whole bumper off to replace the badge. The other week I changed the front and back Emblems on my nightfall with the carbon fiber KLexus.
