Hi All,
First of all, thanks to this forum, its members and their contributions, from which I benefitted immensely in placing my Telluride order. The other day, just before placing the order, I posted here for the first time for advise, and got immediate responses from JW_TX21, HillCountry and MG535, and thanks for that as well.
Info for all of you: I placed an order at Huffines in Corinth (dealer code TX026) on Sep 23 and got a deal of MSRP + $350 in Govt/Doc Fees + Mandatory any 2 accessories (at MSRP as well) and a wait of 3-5 months + $300 refundable deposit. Since I wanted locks, tow and illuminated plates anyway, I did not mind the "2 accessories" mandate. There was a 2-3 days delay in getting the receipt for the deposit, but I got it finally.
Now, couple questions for any of you that purchased / ordered at this dealer:
1) Did any of you succeed in getting level 2 info about your order? like copies of the KDealer order or KFOS order, or # of people ahead of you in the queue? I am getting blown off on these questions. I even took a visit to their location (I am local), and was not able to get it.
2) Did you all get consistent updates from the dealer regarding ETAs and progress without any surprises?
I will be certain to post my experience once my order gets traction.
