• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Anyone had to inquire about extending your registration due to covid? I had 2 months from my dealer, which is a great amount of time and now, with about 3 weeks left, I cannot get an appointment with the NM DMV (they are appt only) or with a third party company either, until late July/Early Aug. I have a call into the title manager at the dealer, to see if they can do an extension, but I thought I would drop this here to see if anyone else has had to deal with this. I was willing to pay more for the convenience of using the third party company and was surprised that they are also backed up.

Thankfully my dealer here sent it all in and I got the registration and plates back within 3 weeks. I was expecting a lot longer. Got lucky I guess.

With the MVC's being closed, law enforcement all over the country have not been enforcing temp tags or any MVC type violations. Call your local police, there may be a directive handed down by your AG telling LEO to not to enforce MVC type violations and you will be fine.

My dealer (in FL) has sent me another 30 day tag while waiting for NYS DMV registration.

I'm still waiting for NYS DMV registration now 3 months since purchase. I'm also waiting for the dealer to send the 3rd temp tag. Second temp tag expired Aug 5!
