  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just read that in order to get the 1.9% rate that the credit score needs to be 780+.
Is this accurate?
We are trying to buy a Telluride today but this may kill the deal as we are a few points (can count on one hand) below that.
Thanks in advance!

Depends on where you read that. KIA literature and dealership literature can be two totally different things. Most dealers here have stated 720 is the magic number to qualify for KIAs rates. However there are numerous different credit score models that provide varying scores that consumers can view for themselves, only your dealer can tell you if you qualify or not. With that being said our dealer took the position not to honor KIAs financing terms bc they were "selling this vehicle at MSRP" so we refinanced following our purchase for a far better rate even though based off of our credit we should've received the lowest advertised KIA rate. Oooh. This is super helpful info. I wonder if they will tell me whether they are offering 1.9 before we drive out there? It isn't exactly local. Thank you!

Yikes. I'd have that info in writing already or at the very least confirmed by the sales manager over the phone verbally. This is only to protect you once you get there. Their job is to get you in that finance office and sell that vehicle. Try to save some time and aggravation by getting some of these questions answered before you make the trip, or just be prepared for the games.
Another good question to ask is what mandatory addendums or packages they will require you to pay for in addition to the financing terms.

I’ve got most of that answered: see my other thread re: Quantum coating. LOL. They are technically selling at MSRP a required addendum of $1999 which is why your post gave me pause.

I believe most here would agree anything $2k and below on top of msrp is reasonable for this vehicle in the current market. I hope it works out for ya! Post pics when you get her home
