• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Edited: I don’t know if it flew off the the roof or somebody tried to steal it and left it loose. I had it yesterday, but heard something hitting the driver side but couldn’t see what it was until this morning. Just read some people having the same issue. It’s this a common thing or it’s just my luck?

Just your luck. Be glad this was your luck. Others have won the lemon lottery.

What trim level Telluride is this on - the LX without roof rack rails and having simple filler trim in place of the rails? Bummer that you’re going through this, but hopefully KIA will make it right under warranty.

Is there a thread I should read?
No specific thread. A few postings here and there. Can probably find feedback related to this on most any posting from user “Kwim” on here.

It’s the plastic molding, surprised to see how easy it is to take off. It’s only been 3 months and just 2k miles and I don’t want to lose it every time if is a windy day etc.

is that rust in pic #3? I panicked too when saw the pic, but it was the sun reflection. The only crazy thing is the dirt under the molding, make me think that there is a lot of air coming through

So Kia decided to help me out for $200. Which is the price of the molding. I am not a child, so I will give the benefit of the doubt. I hope it was just stolen and not the piece of molding I saw on the road days after. I don’t see a market for it online which makes no sense for anybody to steal it. And it’s actually cheaper than $200 online.
