• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Has anyone bought after market running boards for their kia ex? We have the nightfall edition and would like all black to match the exterior, but wasn't sure if there were off market ones that worked well for you.
Thank you!

I got SX P NFE in Black Copper and got the running boards. It was the one item I didn't think about it until a few days after delivery. The chrome sticks out bad. I'm either taking them off or find a way to blackout the chrome. Anyone else got chrome steps on a blacked out vehicle?

Besides the chrome piece, do you like the style and do they work well/easy to install?

Just my two cents:

The chrome looks great, especially on a running board because of the long horizontal line.. (y)

Optically, the car looks longer and faster.

It's like a classy version of cheap pin-striping or questionable racing stripes which can sometimes look terrible, whereas with the chrome line, it's sharp.

Going fully monochromatic is like a boring splotch of color.

Ever seen VANS shoes with the same color stripe, panels, sole, laces?

Weak sauce, right?

It's nice to have an accent color cut through the primary color and give some secondary lines to the Telly, which already looks great because of the big, bold, and boxy "design language".

Contrast is a good thing, no? :ROFLMAO:

The were either factory or dealership installed. These are OEM not after market.
