• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Neither. It’s the Dark Moss. That’s why I like it so much. Depending on the lighting it could look green, black, brown, or grey.

Definitely not.Loving my S trim..captain chair and 20 wheel are the main reason..I m not a big fan of black wheel so SX trim didn't attracted me much..but I do miss power tailgate..but big price difference so I m very happy I saved some money..

Agreed 100%

I’m happy with my S. The only thing I wish it had is the power folding mirrors (SX), tilting side mirrors when in reverse (EX+), and power lift gate (EX+). I like the 20” wheels over the 18” which is only on S and SX. I also really wanted the captains chairs (S and SX). Of course we all want the the camera for blind spots and the birds eye view for parking (SX). The SX was really the only other option for me due to the captains chairs. IMO the S trim is the best value for what I can afford.

Your thoughts are probably shared with many as the rumor is that Kia will be adding the Captains chairs option to the EX.

Exactly...

Have S FWD, miss power left gate had on old vehicle, also maybe the automatic climate control, also on old vehicle. Have to say the SUV is not quickest off the Mark, but it's the same engine on all trims, maybe should of gone with the AWD. But that being said is a family SUV with three kids in it and the wife, wanted the captains seats and wasn't going to pay 40/50k for top trim. Anyway just the power liftgate is the one that stands out and and I'm throwing the remote start missing on the key fob.

Yes! Remote start on key fob!!! I get that we “all” have smart phones but Its a pain in the butt to log in to the app, wait for it to load, then I hit start, wait some more, still waiting, then it tells me it’s running. Just put it on the fob or give me a 1 touch icon on my phone at the very least

I think it depends on what you are looking for. For us, having the captains chairs were most important with 3 kids - which the EX does not have. S also comes with 20's - if that's a positive to you.

With the S you still get a lot of the bells and whistles -- all the highway drive assist and lane keep assist are there standard, and you get 1 powered sunroof. You do miss out on some of other features.

We've had our S since early March, and are totally happy with it, and so is my wallet. The one thing I wish it did come with was black wheels, but that can obviously be addressed in a lot of other ways. Again the 4-5k extra for more for features but no captain chairs for the EX, or roughly 8-10K extra for captains chairs, all the bells and whistles and black wheels in the SX, wasn't justified in our opinion

But it's all about what is most important to you. I do not think you can go wrong with this car.
We got our S at the end of August and absolutely love it. The dealer had added the black wheels when we went to see it and they look great. The second row captains chairs was what I wanted as well. Each week we look for a new place to go for a ride to see.

Only regret is no power passenger seat. Has anyone attempted or succeeded in raising manual passenger seat? Has anyone tried to convert to a power seat or any aftermarket recommendations?
