  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m working on the final steps of getting my Telluride. My salesperson from Peak Kia North sent me the final invoice for the car. It included things such as dealer fee, delivery and taxes and insurance. I have never bought a car in a different state that I live in so would anyone be able to assist with that? Does anyone know what the process that Peak Kia North uses? Is it a mail in type situation? Just to clear it up a little. I live in Kansas and am buying the car from Colorado. Thanks in advance!

When I bought my car out of state they calculated sales tax for me based on the address I registered the car to. I was given a temp plate from VA and was mailed my NY plates. The dealer was able to coordinate registration for me no problem. In NY you pay sales tax as part of the registration process, so the dealer collected it at sale then paid NY as part of them registering (plus registration fees).

When I bought my first car, I didn’t get any notice either from the state not from the manufacturer. I had only to indicate this car in my annual report. I had to indicate the car model, the year of production, and other information.
I was worried that I would not know how to do things right in this case, but it turned out to be alright, and now I keep all my financial documents clear. I like that many online tools like a paystub generator can help me keep track of my income and how much taxes I pay. I don’t want to have legal problems now, so I try to do everything right.
