• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Screw stuck in headlight assembly! 1 Week old Telluride S

That looks to be one of the many screws that secures the inner bezel to the lens. I’ve had my SX ones apart. There are A LOT of screws within the headlight. From a troubleshooting perspective it would be faster to just order a new assembly. Not to mention trying to get that screw out without removing the lens risks scratching tf out of the inside. Hope that they get that taken care of for you timely.
Thanks, appreciate the info! That's precisely my concern w long term reliability from at least one missing screw from the rear of the sub-assembly. My guess is that the bumper and part of the grill needs to removed as well.

Hey Pat - was this resolved? What happened? I have the same problem. Got my ex nightfall with the LED lights 3 weeks ago and just noticed a screw in the exact same place as yours!

Thanks!

Hi Bill, Yes all is good now. The dealer replaced the full headlight assembly. The assembly had to be ordered but it arrived in 4 days.... the actual replacement took around an hour. Do you know your build date? My date was 3-4-21.

Looks like they were having a bad couple of weeks with the headlight sub-assembly. It appeared like mine was stuck within the seal on the inside of the case so it was most likely done a the sub assembly point vs final build.

Mine looks similar to your pics so it'll be interesting to hear what they tell me when I bring it in to the dealer. I assume they'll need to replace the full assembly as well. I'm hoping this isn't going to be some back and forth with them.
