• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello. I just ordered my Telluride about 2 weeks ago and should receive it on
9.18.19. and am very excited. However, I
Just read a disturbing article stating that theres a recall on the seatbelts. Something about they may not properly secure occupants in a crash. According to the article, something like > 30,000 vehicles are affected.
Hopefully mine isn't affected or gets fixed before I pick it up.
Just thought you should know because this is kind of a big deal.

And Just thinking out loud: I wonder if this affects the market rate adjustment being added to this vehicle???

Heres what I read. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/08/29/2020-kia-telluride-recall-seatbelt/

Already a thread on it two below yours.

Meanwhile, ford just recalled 550,000 vehicles for a different safety issue. Ford recalls 550K vehicles for seat strength problem

Point being, safety recalls happen, and they are good.

Thanks for posting. I looked around prior to posting and did not see any threads about it.
Agreed it's a good thing. Just hope owners know about it and if affected, get it remedied before anyone experiences a tragedy.
