• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I went to the dealership today with an appointment to take care of the two recalls on my 24 Telluride S. The first recall on the e brake software upgrade and check was completed. The seat switch bracket and button change was not done as they said they didn’t have the parts specific to my seat. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this? Seems like if you make an appointment a week prior and having bought the vehicle at the dealer, that they should have a firm understanding of what parts are needed and have them to hand.

Same happen to me. And not only that. After they serviced my Tellu my control knob from the seat gets trigered and have to depress manually to make the seat stop. Was working fine until I take it to the dealer for a Recall that can not be done due a lack of parts

I just took my 2021 Telluride for the recall yesterday. Everything went smooth guess time will tell. I never really had an issue but definitely understand the knob can get stuck and cause a fire. Some dealerships might not have all the parts in stock or sufficient so I would advise to check by calling even if you already have an appointment. One would think they would since the moment you set up an appointment they can tell what model you have a what type of seats. I have an EX so not sure if all trim models are a little different specifically the model higher which for my year I believe SX is.

Today Monday I just picked my ''24 EX up after its first oil change and the switch recall. When I booked the appointment last Friday I asked if they had the parts. Answer was yes and they completed the recall for both front seats. Friction free and they had the car for less than two hours. No complaints here.
