• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... How many of you were single purchasers, In other words no spouse or kids. I'm single and am thinking about getting a Telluride but look at it more as a family car. It's going to be between a 2021 Ford F150 or a Telluride

I vote F150. Optioned correctly, they can be nearly as fuel efficient as the Telluride, still have tons of interior space for hauling people or gear and you get the box. I think it's a more versatile vehicle for a single person than the Telly. They're huge compared to the Telluride so that's something to consider. Kinda depends on what you do with it and your parking situation. Buy what you like. No wait for F150 either.

I’m single, no kids and I bought mine last September. I love it!

I have a 2020 F150 and will be buying the Telluride to replace my wife’s 2012 Dodge Durango. We have two young boys.

For me, if I was single and had choice of either, I’d be going with the 2021 F150.

No worries about the size of the F150, I'm driving a F250 now.

Tough choice. In your situation, I'd probably choose the F150. Unless you are feeling like a Range Rover kind of guy... as the Telluride is a good substitute. Telluride would be great for many purposes, and depending on trim you could really customize it. If you need to tow a lot, then you might also prefer the truck.

If you enjoy being that family member that helps friends/family move their furniture, the F150 is the obvious choice.

Get the Telluride if you’d rather not be bothered asking. 😺

depends what you want/need out of a vehicle.
would you use the truck as a truck? do you need the bed? personally for me id get a challenger if it was just me lol
Me- Ram 1500
Wife- Telluride
we love both vehicles and utilize both

I'm not a pick-up truck guy, but I know several who are sold on theirs. I am waiting for my Kia, while driving my Outback with 180k (just getting broken in). I like the ability to load the enclosed back with stuff one gets with an SUV. The ride is relatively high in the Telluride and it has all those bells and whistles.
For just fun driving, I have my Miata. Always a smile.
Enjoy your choice, whichever.

I would think this would be sufficient for a single guy. He'd also have the option to cover the bed.

Just because I’m single, doesn’t mean I’m by myself. Other than construction materials, it’s easier to get things in and out of the SUV than a truck bed because of the increased height

I thought this was about @MikeB ?

I'm a single woman and I ordered the Telluride (SXP NF). My original plan was to get the Mazda CX 5 but I love love love the Telly. Get what you want and what you think you'll enjoy. Life's too short.

My wife and I have packed our camping gear for a weekend, cooler, food, clothes and golden retriever into the back seat of our super crew F150.
We have a tonneau cover to keep stuff in the box dry. We took an overnight trip with 4 adults and an infant car seat last winter. We were even able to keep a cooler and diaper bag in the cab along with the ladies' purses, our jackets and my winter survival gear. Trust me, there's plenty of enclosed space in the F150, it's just oriented differently. The floor height of the F150 may even be lower than the rear cargo area of the Telluride. This is why I say that the pickup is more versatile for someone who doesn't need 7 seats. He's driving a F250 now so either vehicle will be lower than what he has.

I am a Empty Nester, looking forward to some fun adventures in my new Telly,, I had a 2007 H-3 (smallest SUV Hummer made). The feel of the Telly felt similar to me from what I remember of the H-3, on a truck frame, lots of great creature comforts with reassurance of feeling very safe in regards to the build. 😎

I almost bought a used H3 in 2008. I liked it a lot but my shoe didn't fit between the transmission tunnel and the brake pedal. I had to go under the brake pedal to access the accelerator. It just wasn't meant to be I guess.

It must have been part of their marketing plan by design to “Up-grade” to the H-2 for the men? 🤷‍♀️🦶🥾

We had so many fun memories driving on the beach 🏖 my boys love SUV’s, I was starting to think I’d never find another ride as much as I enjoyed my little H-3,, the Telly has it beat hands down for sure! 😉

My past vehicles were 4Runners and I got hooked. Toyota doesn’t have all the niceties that the Telluride has. This is my first Kia, hope it lasts .
