• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Snow Tire Recommendations

Check out some videos on YouTube. You May be surprised how capable they are.

Anyone with snow tire sizing recommendations for a 2022 SX? I know I am going with Blizzaks just not sure of the size. When I called American Tire they recommended staying with the 20 inch tires, but reading online says better to go a size down. Anyone here with experience and recommendations on snow tire sizing?
My 2021 S trim came with these tires.

They are designed for snow and wet conditions. For the first time in many years (and many cars I've owned) I'm not getting actual "snow" tires. With the snow drive feature on my Telluride and with these tires that are designed for snow, I'm feeling confident that I'm good to go. And I live in eastern Washington, about 2 hours south of the Canadian border. I travel in winter a lot on I90 across Montana and down through Wyoming on I25 with many mountain passes on the route. I hope I'm not wrong, but I'm going with the factory ones this time.

Reviews look good ... the main complaint is tread life and durability.

But that's to be expected with this class of tire.

Continental Viking Contact 7 for me. It depends on where you live, conditions, driving style, etc.

Pardon my lack of my knowledge on snow tires.

What is advantage of switching to snow tires when I have all weather tires already on my telly ? I live in Denver metro area, we get decent amount of snow but Sun☀️ comes next day and cleans most of it.

I used to have Audi Q5 with all weather tires and i never changed to snow tires, it worked well for me, What I am missing ?
I too live in the Denver area. After using dedicated snow tires a few years back, I won’t go back to all seasons all year. Snow tires don’t excel in slush like we get the day after it snows, but they will give you better traction/starting/stopping than all seasons. Even though the metro area doesn’t get a ton of snow, you will be able to adventure further into the foothills and mountains with snow tires. Vail pass in a blizzard? No problem!
