Software Installation - I'm a Noob

Don't chastise me as I'm late to the game but I've had my 2021 Telly for over a year now and I'm learning about the nav/software updates. I've successfully downloaded it and it's ready to install. Can I leave the vehicle in accessory mode during the install, or should the engine actually be on? I've heard of installing it while driving around town but I dont have any major drives planned. Happy to jump in the Telly and go for a ride if needed though.

A lot of different experiences with the update procedure in this thread. Engine does not need to be running. Should be an option to install after shutting off the engine.

Mark your calendars: Hyundai Mapcare | FAQs / Contact Us No changelog as of yet, but the version number jump hopefully indicates that it's a sizeable update. I'll post the changelog once it surfaces; in the past it has typically been in advance of the update becoming available.

Depending on what version software you have currently installed, the update may need to go thorough more than one install process to update to the latest version.
