@LouV: We gave deposit by check. Cleared today actually. I have a feeling that we could get the money back if we pushed the issue. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.......Dealership showed that ours will be next for delivery first week or so of May. Will have tow package included on that vehicle. Not really needed and not what was negotiated when we ordered. Maybe we can split the almost $800 difference with the dealership since we did not request that option.

Same thing happened to me. Dealer split the diff since I didn't want the tow pkg.

@RyanZ Yup.. you are not the first one to tell me exactly that. I’m surprised I haven’t had anyone put a deposit on the Dark Moss/ Gray interior S model with Captain Chairs. Might actually hit my lot and be available.

Yeah I spoke to a sales rep there this morning but I think that one is pre-sold.

@StephenCantrelle so is it true that Kia isn't building the AWD SX at the moment? I was told by my local deal that they are pausing production on AWD SX models for several months. Seems odd. Also in your opinion, when do you think that inventory will stabilize? Here in So Cal, there is no talking to dealers without agreeing to the obligatory multi-thousand dollar mark up over MSRP. Thanks!!!!

Just my luck I guess... Ordered a Telly SX with prestige, and towing ... was told several months when I ordered. I also heard the skinny on the lack of 2nd row captains chairs. Maybe Kia should have did better estimation on who or what would order which. Now they have some perturbed customers who placed down money to order something that is going to be delayed... I guess I will get my 2020 in...... 2020 LOL. My trade in will bring me even less money. What I see.... a very good vehicle with POOR planning in manufacturing and distribution maybe??

Wondering if they are even able to order they took my deposit but haven't reached out to me I always have to reach out to them and have been getting back answers back and forth. Placed an "order" early April and still have no vin or any information other than that they have my money.

Thanks feels like they are just hoping what I ordered comes in.

@StephenCantrelle any chance you can check to see what’s going on with a vehicle at lancaster county Kia. I’m waiting on a moss w/dune sx-p and my dealer hasn’t been able to give me much of anything except that it might be here sometime this month. Seems that I was allocated but they seem to not know anything else. Thanks!
