SX X-line timeline

Ordered my SX-Prestige X-LINE on 12/30/22 (Dawning red, black interior) and my sales rep called me last week to say the est delivery date is 3/12/23. He confirmed the est. delivery date again yesterday. I can't wait! I agreed to pay MSRP. Other dealer in town told me $10K over MSRP, so I laughed and walked out the door.

My dealer called me today and said my SX X-line finally arrived at their lot. I was so puzzled coz I have been checking on Failcat since my order was picked up last month but have not seen my exact order the dealer is getting . I asked them to email me the window sticker and they did. Unfortunately the interior color is wrong. I ordered Terracotta but the one the dealer said is mine is black. This is a big disappointment coz we love the terracotta so much with Dark Moss. The dealer is checking what they can do now, but I think I'd have to eat it unless placing a new order.

The Dark Moss is still such a great color. Sorry about your interior color. I hope you will love the Telluride so much snd that the black will grow on you. I ordered a Wolf Gray SX-Prestige XLine 10/21/2022 and picked it up yesterday 2/15/2023. Dealer was Friendly Kia in New Port Richey, FL. They have to be one of the highest volume dealers in the US. Very happy with my experience with them and what I paid.

Raymond "Joe" Slater did a great job keeping me up to date when there was news to share. He also did a great job with vehicle delivery and closing.

The Dark Moss is still such a great color. Sorry about your interior color. I hope you will love the Telluride so much snd that the black will grow on you. Thank you. I don't mean black interior is anything bad, but it's just me having black interior from my last car for more than 10 years and now just want to have something different.

It’s so crazy to me that the X-Lines are advertised as black trim including grill surround and bumper but yours looks silver. We’re you expecting black or what you received? Curious what dealerships are saying.

I would have preferred darker, but I knew what I was getting. I've thought about wrapping it to black it out, but I'm going to give it some time before I decide. It really looks good the way it is ... better than I thought it would.

I was told they can get me the exact trim as my order with terracotta interior from another dealership within their network but with floor mats and cargo net that I don't want and did not order. Neither the window sticker nor the VIN is available as of now. The ETA is 03/20.

I called my credit union immediately coz I got an instant approval from them for 3.2%/60 months. I wanted to know if I can lock in the rate and how long. I was advised my pre-approval is good until end of April. I quickly sent an email and questioned the same thing again, hopefully having something in writing. Still awaiting their email response. In the worst scenario I will have to pay an extra 0.55% if I can't get the car released before the lockup rate expires. 3.75% is still considered a very good rate in today's climate since the Fed rate is already 4.5%.

Called the dealer back and have them reserve the one with terracotta for me. Now it's the waiting game again.

Armco FCU. They have 1.99% for 36 months, and 3.20% for 60 months. The promotional rates are good till end of this month.

Very nice. That's who I want to refi with but I confirmed with them that I need a 10 day payoff letter and close on the refi by 3/15 if I get approved for the promo rate.

My car ETA at Arapahoe is 2/21 and they don't allow outside financing so I have to basically do 2 hard pulls within 2 weeks if I want to get that 3.2%

If both hard pulls are done within 14 days, it will be counted as one though. Also fyi, Armco pulled off my credit report from Experian.

Wait... I got pre-approval for 36 months 1.99% from Armco as well but I was told over the phone that it's only valid for 30 days and not more... Were you told end of April over the phone as well or through their messaging portal? Ideally, I would like a few weeks leeway in case my telluride arrives later than expected.

I was expecting the lock is only for 30 days, but the rep insisted I am good until end of April. You know in real world we can’t 100% rely on level-1 reps as we often get inconsistent information from them. That’s why I shot them a message to inquire this once again and hopefully get something in writing. Unfortunately, I haven’t got a reply from them.

Gotcha. Yeah, just thought it was strange since I'm getting mixed signals... I called them again and reconfirmed that the rates are locked for 30 days but the loan officers may or may not honor the locked rate past that date. Plus, I haven't been getting any responses from them through their messaging system and the rep was saying that they're overwhelmed with the # of loan applications coming in recently so back logged significantly - just fyi.
