• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I picked up my EX Wolf gray with Night Fall trim yesterday (I basically put a small deposit, 2 days ago, on one that had not been shipped yet. Tha Kia dealer said it might be a month before thieir shipment came in. Lo and behold it came that very night. Quite a quick wait time. So, today I took my 60 lb. Lab for a ride in it. She sat in one of the Cptains chairs in the back and put a small tear in the leather with her toenail. I could ignore it, but Id rather get some suggestions for fixing a small tear. Some king of glue?

Picture will help. Depending on location, "fix" will look worse than leaving it alone. If you want it done right, look up a local upholstery shop.

I would check with an upholstery shop. I just had a guy fix a scrape on a leather sofa and it looks perfect (it wasn't a tear though). He used some professional products and color match is perfect on a dark grey.

I would, however, use a high quality cleaner and conditioner on your leather - it will really keep it looking good. I use products from Adams Polishes, but there are many quality leather conditioners.
