• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thought I'd start a thread to post links to all the forthcoming accessories for this cool SUV. So far, there's not much on Ebay or Google searches....yet.

Great topic! And welcome aboard, AnyVare! I'm glad you found us... So! Should we speculate a bit? Or shall we leave this strictly/mostly for links? Your thread! You're the boss. :)

I prefer links, but am open for discussions too. When products hit and there are 3rd part stores....maybe we do a forum for stores?

Yes! We can do that! :)

Wen do aftermarket accessories typically start coming out for 1st year model vehicles. I'd love to get some Weather Tech Mats, Mud Flaps, and Wind Deflectors. I also think the Telluride would look good with running boards. I see these things on Kia's build site but a local dealer told me last night that they are not available yet.

I believe that Weather Tech will usually be 4-6 months. They have to be able to get one of the vehicles, in this case 2, one in 7 seat config and one in 8. Then they have to digitally measure/scan it. Following that, they have to produce tooling and actually get the molds into production. I would suggest that anyone interested in WT mats reach out to them and let them know they are purchasing a Telluride and are inquiring as to when they will be available. This will at least make them aware of the demand if they are not already.

The Subaru Ascent started to be sold in late May/Early June. Looking back at their forum, it appears that the front row became available the End of Oct. so that was 5-6 months.

Could be a difference in the AWD vs FWD also. There is in the mats for the stinger. The AWD mats are different than the RWD ones.

Hey @astranger, since you already have your Telly and clearly use youtube, would you mind doing a video of the 2nd row seats folding using the button in the trunk area. There is a conversation in a different thread about how fast these seats fold up using the button. If you don't mind doing a video, please put the 2nd row seats back far enough that their folding isn't impeded by the front seats and have the armrests for the 2nd row seats in the up position. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I can't guess how much a video is worth.

I am sorry, the Youtube video wasn't created by me. It was just something I found.
Anyway, I don't think you need to worry about 2nd row not folding flat because they do when things are set properly.

Check 25:50 , if it is helpful...

Yeah, that feature, but I think she really wanted to see the seat folding all the way down instead of getting a half way probably because those seats weren't all the way back.

Right, I've just commented to the youtube video of the guy who did the rebadge to see if he'd post a video. I must seem a pest trying to confirm what may just be my false impression. I hope that's all it was.

I think this is what you were looking for. No worries, we are all curious of everything. :)

Ok, so that video shows what I recall. The driver side 2nd row sort of snapped down, the passenger side seemed a little slower for whatever reason. We rented a Dodge Durango for just one day when our Ody broke down out of town. It had a button that I clicked out of curiosity wondering why you'd need to fold a headrest and found out the hard way that that it is to fold down the 3rd row headrest out of the way to not block the driver's view out the rear glass. When I hit it my youngest was sitting in that seat and it smacked her in the head really hard. I'm sure that has colored my opinion of how the seats fold. You can see what I mean about the Durango here in this really short video

Found this today, anybody want a mattress for the rear :)
