• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What is the orange looking thing on your tire in the snow picture? Can't quite make it out.

trying out a type of tire chain. My first AWD so wasn't positive on how it would handle. Ran it with and without in about 10 inches of snow. Def didn't need them so I put them on my wifes Acura.

Guy in a Moss EX drives past me on a roundabout this morning. Didn't even acknowledge me. Dipstick...

My wife and I were surprised to see two different Tellurides about 5 minutes apart this morning in town. The first one looked black as it turned in front of us at a light. But, when we got a different angle to it and passed it, my wife pointed out it was "brown". So, it must have been black copper?

The second one passed us going out of town (had out of state license plate), and was a dark gray color. I was driving and tried to get my wife to take a picture on my phone so I could post it on here. She's not very good with Android phones, but did take "kinda" a picture of the second Telluride. That's it up ahead of us in the left lane. Not a very good picture, sorry (but, blame my wife, 😂😜).

Two or three times I drove past Tellurides around here I almost did that hand signal to point that we're both driving the same vehicle to get that recognition. Which would be weird because I didn't pick up mine yet...

There is a secret hand signal?

Yes but you only get to know it when you’re on Plane 8. Most people are on Plane, I’d say, 2...

now seriously I meant that sign that you do when you are wearing the same T-shirt, you know, you point to one, then the other, and you smile at the person so he/she realizes you are wearing the same shirt? That, but with cars.

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds with the car paint, and creates a extremely hydrophobic layer. Durability really varies from product to product, but will well outlast traditional wax. Prices really varies from $20 DIY ceramic spray to professional products. I ended up going to a high end shop and got Modesta's flagship product: BC-04/BC-05.

Total cost was $2400 for the ceramic (including rims, glass, calipers) and $1200 for the paint correction. Lifespan is 3-10 years with a once a year maintenance session at the detailer.

Princess Diana, that's what my wife has named if, is one week old today. I posted pictures on another post last week but here you go! I love every bit of this car! The wait was well worth it. In the last days, I have driven my wife to places that I hate driving to. All because I want to drive it more and more!!
How are you liking the Sangria color?

I'm loving the daily compliments because yout dont see a lot of Telly's in Sangria which makes it standout very well.

Today’s flavor: I cheated but the sun came out and I had to photograph my own black copper

My baby this morning... I love it. It's not even a week, though, and it's all dirty, we drove it around the block a few times and it just looks like it went to a Dakar Rally. Too cold to detail it myself and I don't want to use those car washes...
