Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. @BRNXBMR , are your tail lights tinted? What percent film? I've been opposed to tinting them for safety/liability reasons, but this looks nice and not too outrageous.

At a stoplight yesterday, I pulled up beside a mirror image of my vehicle in the next lane -- an Ebony Black SX-P. The driver had her head in her phone, but I got her attention by waving. I smiled and gave her a thumbs-up. Unfortunately I don't think she had any clue that our cars were identical and just thought I was nuts.

Every time I see a telluride I get the urge to wave. Then I remember I don't have mine yet and they'll have no idea why I'm waving.

I found myself waving and getting strange looks for about 10 days as I drove past 5 - 6 in my daily commute. Day four with my Telly and I am so focused on my baby that I haven't noticed any. I am sure I am still driving by the same ones.View attachment 18930

It’s funny…. At my kid’s school there’s a black SX AWD that drops off & picks up their kid at the same time as me. When the dad is driving we’ll wave at each other. When the mom is driving or the dad isn’t present, she seems to just completely ignore me… lol. Even when we’re right next to each other in the pickup line!
At my office there’s a new Wolf grey nightfall that I’ve been seeing. The other day we got there at the same time and were able to actually have a chat about the car and how far Kia has come and stuff. It was pretty cool.

Great Telly to Telly encounter today.
Was driving home after work, took a street in front of the Premium Outlet Stores in Camarillo and saw the distinctive amber DRLs of a Telly SX about to pull into the street.
I waved as I passed.
She waved back.
Later I see her Telly in my rear and side view mirrors, DRLs standing out among all the other cars.
A few blocks up, she pulls up in the next lane when we’re all stopped at a light, rolls down her window.
“Nice car”, I say.
She replies, “Thank you. Love that color.”
Then the light turns green and I’m way ahead because Sport Mode and pedal to the floor, amber DRLs in my rear view mirror
