• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Have been seeing them a lot more the past few weeks on the road. Makes sense due to the production numbers and more people finally leaving their homes.

I've seen several in the Schaumburg, IL area in the past couple of weeks. Maybe I'm biased but they stand out and look great in the sea of "meh" and "blah" SUV's! ;)

I've always wanted to snap some but never have my camera ready. I guess I could follow one (like one of the others did) and take a pic... That's not stalking... that's just being an enthusiast...

This is only the second Telly I've seen on the road. Funny thing is, the first was a Dark Moss in the Costco parking lot. Been looking for them ever since and finally saw one pulling into - again -- the Costco parking lot. This time I stopped and waited for the (lady) to exit so I could ask her about it. She said they had just taken delivery after a 9 MONTH wait!! This is the SXP fully decked out. Lovely car! By the way, there was another person standing there waiting for the lady too get out of the Telly - another lady who said they had just ordered one!

Caught one behind me on the road today. In general I’m actually seeing a bunch in the Cleveland area, mostly black but a few silver and gray too.

I was driving through my neighborhood the other day and swear that a black Nightfall passed me! I totally turkey necked to look back at it and he was probably doing the same to me! I'm dying to know now if there's really another Nightfall in my neighborhood! I know there wasn't another one on the way through my dealer, so maybe they got it out of the area!

I love how excited we get spotting these Telly’s.

Will you message me a photo when you get them on? I'm considering putting them on my Moss Nightfall.
I sure will!

Picked up my EX-P 2days ago and on my way home saw a couple and was so excited to be finally driving one and seeing others. Car feels so good!!

I saw two Ss today and this one: A standard Moss Green EX with a gray interior. That’s my ride!

GG EX today. Every time I see those wheels/tires, as I’ve said a few times already, I’m so glad I’m getting the 20s

Edit - looked so similar to one I posted earlier in here, so went back to make sure I didn’t double post the same one in town.

Just watch out for those potholes

Just watch out for those potholes
I know it’s a bit off topic, but help me understand the pothole logic on 20’s. Are they more susceptible to blowouts because of less sidewall?
I keep going back and forth on what size I would prefer. I had been thinking the 18’s because of ride comfort and cost, but after a bit of research, it seems 20’s aren’t all that more expensive than 18’s (and in some cases less expensive).
And most people I ask about 20’s say they ride great, even those who owned a 2020 Telly with 18’s and then upgraded to a ‘21 with 20’s. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sorry, I was just giving @disweds12 a hard time because he is always dissing my 18” rims!
I think 20s would be fine unless you live in an area where they have chronically bad potholes that don’t get fixed. I recall a few trips around the Boston area where this seemed to be a problem. And I would be more worried about my rim getting bent then a blowout.

@ccorry21, I would suspect that the ride quality and comfort is nearly similar. Yes, because there’s more of an air surface in the 18 tire, it should be a softer ride. Because of the lower profile tire on the 20s, you may feel bumps a little more, but it shouldn’t be to a level of which you feel you’re going over train tracks every time you hit a bump. remember, we’re talking about tired, not rims. You could have a low pro tire on the 18 and still be in the same boat as you would be with the one on the 20.
yes, for me, it’s the appearance that the tire/rim gives with the telly is why I bring it up. And @alexdrums is always there to defend his ride!
