Nah, we have never talked. We are driving out a few hours to avoid the markup. Not gonna lie, it kind of took the wind out of my sails knowing we will have the same car. I still turn my head every time we pass it, though.

Yeah it'll be worth the wait without the markup. What's the markup in our area now? A year ago it was between $2-3000.

South Shore Kia wants 6k over. The salesman there was bragging about how he sold someone else's SX-P under the buyer because he was offered more than the original price. They had a white nightfall SX sitting on the lot for a few weeks. I can only imagine what they were asking for that.

Depends on the dealership. They are required to perform a pre delivery inspection on it before they sell it to you. Some dealerships knock it out in the same day others take longer. Iirc someone here said their dealer "needed" their vehicle for a week before they could sell it to them. They do it to all their vehicles there, not sure why. Maybe to have a third party vendor install something like a $5k meteor shield idk
