Telluride sx lift and larger tires

Can I get 265/60/R18 now before my 2" lift is done? I'm assuming because its so minimal it doesn't matter? I want to keep with the 18" black rhino wheels.
I don't know, but if you're getting the lift and tires done at the same shop, you may get a discount for doing both at the same time.

Good point thanks for the help, ill be posting all sorts of pictures on here once everything is done in next few weeks :-)

The Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/65R17 are XL correct?

What is your wheel size if you don't mind me asking?
Using Warlord series by Black Rhino 17x8 with +35 offset. Fair warning, shop had to shave off a bit off the calipers to clear if you want the same or similar setup.

Not sure what you mean by XL, but they are pretty beefy. Probably more tire than what the Telluride can take advantage of.

I got the Black Rhino Arches 17x8 with +30 offset with no clearance issues. It looks like 17s could be hit or miss, but 18s should be worry free.

I have my 2" lift install scheduled for 4/30! Going to put on BLACK RHINO ARCHES 18" with FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W 265/60 R18. I wont have any rub right? It sounds like only if you go 65 on your aspect ratio will you then experience some rub?

Yeah, you should be good.

Hello everyone, finally got new wheels for my 2020 EX AWD. I know everyone on here is going 18s or 20s but I went a different route. Installed some 265/65 17x9. There is some rubbing but I just ordered the 2" lift kit and I'm hoping that fixes the issue. The stands are a little more aggressive than what I originally wanted but it's starting to grow on me the more I look at it.

Those wheels certainly make the tires to stand out , btw, What offset are those rims?, mine are 35 and they do not flare out as much as yours.

-12 offset. It sticks out 2 inches. I'm hoping with the lift that it will tuck in a little. I'm kind liking it the more I look at it. Definitely a little aggressive but it's ok.

Going back and looking at everything in this thread the 17" wheels seem to make more sense now. I'm going to do BLACK RHINO ARCHES 17x8 with FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W 265/60 R17. Does anyone have pictures of this setup?! Please share!

That would be my setup. But with 17", you can fit 65 series tires.20210210_090727.webp

mine are 245/70/R17 with Black Rhino Barstow, the edges of the Wildpeak AT tires slightly rub the back of the well, the lift kit did not help with that, however, I'm planning to do the hot gun fix 😉

Ok this is my exact setup on order now, I better not be getting any rub on inside well or its on you stanaka1! My White 2021 LX AWD will have BLACK RHINO ARCHES 17x8 with FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W 265/65 R17. You have to override the discount tire tool online because it keeps saying my vehicle is not compatible with this tire and wheel size.

Astron is running the same size tires that I am, but I have Falken Wildpeak and never had rubbing issues. Just goes to show that tire sizes vary a bit between manufacturers. My specs are in my signature line. View attachment 18004
Can you send more pictures of front and rear head on? Sorry im not trolling you its just this is the exact setup im doing :-)

I was going to do 18s but the tire shop people said with 17s you have more options on tire sizes. I originally was going to do 17x8 but the guys at the shop put 9s and I didn't realize until I got home and put them on. Mind you the shop is an 1hr30 from my house so didn't want to drive back. I am liking the look of the 17x9s and I've had a couple people with rigs (jeeps and trucks) of their own tell me they really like the look.

I have the AT3 Open Country s 265/65/17. Love them I get a slight rub with 2” lift. No regrets tho I’m happy with the beefiness it gave my Telluride. I also installed a tow hitch the other day and bought a cargo rack fir extra storage.

So, it appears the options for 17" wheels has been discussed at length. What are tire options for the stock 20" wheels that won't rub, with the Truxxx 2" lift installed? Would the addition of a wheel spacer (I know, I know...) allow for anything bigger?

My wife really likes the stock wheels on our SX-P, but wants me to install the lift and bigger tires when the stock tires wear out.

I think you were looking for how much the tires stick out? Straight on, it's hard to see anything. The tires don't stick out much. Just enough to tell the world that these are not stock. BTW, if you have mud flaps, you may have to take them off.
