• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride sx lift and larger tires

It will be really close. 265/50r20 is the biggest that discount tire recommends and they're nearly the same size. If it fits please let us know! I'm really thinking about that size if it does.

No rubbing no issues.

I’ll put pics in here this weekend.

Have you driven with a fully loaded down Telluride yet? Any rubbing? The only concern I've had about getting bigger tires and no lift is when the Telluride is fully loaded. With the stock tires I have maybe a inch or 2 of clearance until the shocks pump back up.

Not yet, but zero rubbing so far. Headed on a road trip next week with a normative load (not hauling any cinder blocks), so I will keep an eye out for any rubbing 👌
Width and diameter are both less than an inch larger than OE, so hoping it won’t be an issue!

265 60 r18 all terrain on on fast mags with 3/4" spacers. No lift no rub at full pin.

Installed Truxx lift on my 20 SXP, still debating on tires, this thread is helping me decide. Mine does have the self leveling shocks, the rear does sag back to stock level when trailering my side by side, but otherwise works fine. Spoke to Truxx Rep, asked about shock extension possibilities, they're working on a fix but won't be soon.

Side note on alignment, after installing mine I took it to a shop, they didn't have the specs, so I took to dealership. No problem, but had to have a camber kit installed ($30).

Other than the sag issue, love the lift. Should've came that way factory, imo
Was the camber kit for the front or rear? What brand did you go with? Thanks.

I’ve noticed that the vehicle holds gears longer now- thinking about taking the tires back unless there’s something else I can do.

Took these back today and got Goodyear Weather Readys instead.

How'd the roadtrip go? Any rubbing from a loaded telluride?

How did you return if already used? I was hoping to switch to this size. You don't recommend now?

Discount Tire has a good return policy. I wouldn’t recommend them anymore unless you do a lot of off-roading…it changed the manners of the car and held gears a lot longer. Just my results but others may differ.

FWIW the tires are awesome and I wish it would have worked out.

It’s the size of tires, larger circumference, not the type, causing it to hold gears longer.
