Well, black is still very nice. It's a good colour and the interior in our Telluride look fantastic.
You also have one of the best exterior colour so don't worry!

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

Well, black is still very nice. It's a good colour and the interior in our Telluride look fantastic.

When did you place the order for yours?
We started talking with the dealership 5 months ago, but officially but a deposit down about 3 months ago.

Went to dealership last week and a black SXL had come in the day before. Bought it perhaps under a bit of pressure. Several days of buyer's remorse. I would have unwound the deal if they had allowed me. Gorgeous vehicle but far more than I need. Thought there was this big shortage in Calgary but ironically the nearest dealership is selling identical SXL! I pick mine up tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

I just ordered my SXL on Monday June 17 and was told that the arrival time would be late October. I had to choose two colour selections as they said Kia would send one colour sooner than the other. They told me I would receive a VIN in approximately 2 months from now and would find out what colour it would be. Choosing two colors could help it arrive sooner. I could have chosen only one colour if I wanted but i was undecided between the Gravity And Everlasting Greys anyway so i guess they'll surprise me 
By the way, here in Canada, these cars are priced (MSRP) at approx 6.5% above cost. I got mine for 2% above cost.

For me, it was the heated/cooled 2nd row seats, HUD, self leveling rear suspension, LED tail lights (I like the signal light being in the large brake light, not the lower little light), and the Nappa leather. I just wish there was something a little different with the exterior to set it apart a bit from the regular SX. Black wheels perhaps!
I think ours is the one coming late July if you we talking about the South Kia dealership in Saskatoon.
May I ask how is the Leather compared to the SX? Also are the rims the same as the SX as they were not sure at the time when we ordered what they would look like.

It’s definitely softer leather. I find it to be just a little more luxurious and impressive when people jump in for rides.
I’m hauling 6 people around today for a wedding, so hopefully the self levelling suspension does what it’s supposed to.
If you are in Saskatoon, we can connect one day for you to take a look if you’d like. If I had done that it would have cemented my decision to get the SXL.

Wow, it seems like folks who ordered late are going to be shafted with the non-Nappa leather. Unless there is a price discount.

Canada gets screwed again. First it was the inability to get stock black wheels, now the deletion of nappa leather. I ordered my SXL the day before the bulletin came out. I wonder if my dealership will tell me about it or simply let me find out once it's in that it didn't come with nappa leather?!?

I'm sure they'll wait hoping you dont find out. I just sent mine the letter that was posted here and asked them to give it to me straight if I'm getting nappa leather or not.
So my dealer informed me the grey is a no go unless I want to wait until late fall most likely to receive something.. and even then might be 2020. Luckily same vehicle in black nappa was already allotted to their dealership and I'll be taking that one instead.

Agreed! I think I'll do the same and ask him how much the Nappa is worth as that should be coming off of the price.
