Just reserved our 2021 EX premium in Glacial white pearl. Very excited. Found it through Hilltop Kia in Richmond CA. Can’t stop thinking about it and learning a lot through reading many threads and getting some great ideas. Already thinking about what accessories to buy and powdercoating the wheels a gloss black. It will be my wife’s daily driver but I will be having fun adding my style to it. It is due to arrive in a few weeks and the days are dragging. Glad to see this forum has some very knowledgeable people and look forward to meeting everyone.

We have been using a 2005 Accord since new but the family is growing and after doing a bunch of research, and test drives, the Telly stood out to us as the one to get for size and beauty. The accord has been a great car so it will stay in the family. I will likely use that as my daily while my wife gets to enjoy the Telly.

Found a dealer that doesn’t charge mark up. I’ll take that alone as a win.

Does yours show on Failcat, yet? I ordered one from them also, but the order doesn't go out until the 16th. I imagine if I change from EX to SX, it will take way longer.

Thank you for mentioning Failcat. I had no idea what that was. I found mine on there but it doesn’t say when it’s due to arrive. It says “created 9/27/20”

When I went to Roseville, they told me they had the one I wanted arriving soon. The sales Rep messaged me on 10-01 that they received it. It was posted on Failcat with a date of 9-15. So, it sounds like you are probably very close.
Too bad they do the markups, "with added value" I just told them I'd order it from Richmond if they were going to be that ridiculous. They just don't care, but tried to explain that I was getting so much more than just a dealer markup. New rims, tires, etc. Not for 6 k, no way. Anyhow, I think I want LED headlights and I wouldn't have had them with that one anyhow. It sold, so somebody was willing to pay their price. :-( For their price I could get an SX!
Please let us know how your experience goes with Richmond. They seem super nice there and are willing to let us order what we want. That is so nice that they had what you wanted already coming in. I imagine mine will take at least 4 months and probably way longer if I switch to an SX which I am up in the air about.
So nice to have this forum and the members who are willing to help us find a good deal and share their knowledge.

During my search I came across Roseville too. They also had one I was looking for but I could not fathom spending 8k more on their added accessories/protection not including the markup. Hard for me to pay anything over markup but also hard for me to have to wait 6-8 months for one also. I was also considering moving up to an SX if one turns up with Richmond but so far I’m very happy with what I was able to reserve. This forum has been very helpful with the process and can’t wait to get my hands on it. I hope your experience gets better. I would consider talking to Moe at Hilltop in Richmond. He has been very helpful answering all my questions and dealing with my indecisiveness so far. Not to mention the no markups. Good Luck!!
