We have a 21 SX and have uvo downloaded on both of our phones. When my android is connected it'll read texts out loud but when my wife's iPhone is connected it won't read her messages. We've tried a few different settings but can't figure out how to get it working with her phone.

Are you sure you have enabled all of the necessary permissions on the phone? Make sure in settings > Bluetooth > (info) that “show notifications” is enabled.

Also, her phone would need to be the primarily connected phone (for calls, not necessarily audio) at that time the text is received for this to work.

Check if show notifications is enabled in the bluetooth settings under kia on her iPhone as mentioned on this thread.

Is it possible to use the “read text” option with Bluetooth connection only or do you have to use Apple CarPlay?

Also only one phone can be connected to bluetooth in the Telluride at a time. If your phone is the primary bluetooth device, you will always be connected by default only when both your phones are detected in the car.

It worked for her last night. We tried changing the permissions on Monday but that didn't work at first. Not sure why it needed the extra time but I'm not complaining.

Yes, you must delete everything
