The Forward Collision Sensor is not working, does my Kia have one at all?

Hi all, I own a 2024 Telluride Ex, and I am not sure if it comes with forward collision sensors or not because when I pull into my garage or near any other cars, I don't see any warnings or beeps. I have checked all the settings, and they seem to be right. Can I get some ideas about what to look at?

You do not have front parking sensors. Those are only on the SX and up.

Parking distance warning (which uses the parking sensors you don’t have) and forward collision avoidance are totally different. FCA, which every Telluride has, uses radar in the bumper and a camera at the top of the windshield. It only works at speed… not in parking situations.

One of the problems I have had with my 2024 is figuring exactly what I have. The user manual is filled with "if equipped" disclamers before describing a feature. So when reading the manual to understand the car, often I have to go outside and fire it up to see if I am "equipped." This is really dumb. With publish on demand technology being quite mature, Kia could easily publish an individual manual for each VIN, telling us how to use what we have and omitting mention of nonexistent features.

Don't believe that the EX comes with a forward sensor. I have a 2020 EX and it doesn't, had to upgrade to the SX for that.
