• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Black Copper

I had a chance to buy a SX-P in Black Copper exterior. I took a hard look at the car but I really could not tell any “copper” color in there. The deal was very tempting because I was being offered MSRP for the car. Eventually I did not buy it because I really did not want a black Telluride

We own one in black copper. Honestly, it just appears black. We can see no hint of brown or copper even in strong sunlight.
The copper flecks are quite obvious in the direct sunlight. In the shade it does look black. Maybe you got Ebony.

I would have bought it and sold for a profit since you can't find many dealers selling at MSRP!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Taxes paid will kill any opportunity to profit...

I agree with Kao. There are quite a few pictures posted on this forum showing the black copper standing out in different lighting situations. In addition to the light bringing it out, I can see the black copper in mine in the door handle well when it lights up at night upon approach.

I recant. After one month, I finally caught a gleam of prune-brown on one panel that caught the sun at a particular angle. Mostly, it appears no different than the black models.

Just bought our Black Copper yesterday. Got home today and took a few pics. Unfortunately it was rainy/overcast today. I will surely post more pics when it has been shined up and it's sunny out.

A few more pics today with the sun shining. Got a close up of the copper flakes in the sun.

Just my .02 cents for anyone searching for info on this color. I am a unicorn in that I have owned 2 Telly's. My first was Gravity Gray and my new SX Prestige Nightfall is Black Copper.
I have yet to see pics in this group that does the color of this ride anything close to justice. This thing is just beautiful. It is like having a 2 color car. At night or overcast is is a deep Black and in sunlight or lighted conditions, it is a beautiful shimmery Copper! It is something you really have to see for yourself. I too had to take a leap of faith when I ordered and boy and I/we glad we did!!!

Hi, I did take a leap of faith and ordered a Black Cooper without seeing it at the dealership because they didn't have any on the lot. Now I'm just waiting and seeing all other colors, my 2nd is either Wolf Grey or Everlasting Silver for that tinge of blue.. anyhow, now I'm doubting that Black Cooper will be great and it sounds and seen online.

Your dealer should have color swatch samples of all the car colors and leather colors somewhere inside the dealership to look at. Every dealership I've been in had a set. Granted it's a small piece to look at, not a whole car, but they have a sample board for your to do a side by side comparison. They have the different color leathers too.
