• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Gravity Grey

After a nearly 6 month wait, it's finally here.

I absolutely love the gray. It has a cold, dark, mean look to it. Even in full sun, it retains the deep, rich color.

Also very happy with my choice of the "love it or hate it" butterscotch interior, which opens up and brightens the interior. It's hard to photograph, as the camera may make it look too bright or saturated. In real life, it's a very classy color of a light walnut leather dress shoe. I also like how the warmer, lighter interior contrasts with the GG exterior.

It's not even clean in the pics (has a dusting of pollen) and still looks great.
Very nice! Great combo. Mine GG with Black Interior. Couldn’t pass up on a great deal and wait for that butterscotch. Like how it still looks clean even though it’s dusty.

I also have GG and love it!! I’ve done the badges, all weather mats (smartliner), front window tinting and painted calipers.

What paint and color did you use? VHT Burnt Copper Engine Metallic by any chance? 🤔

Looks nice! Is that an overlay badge and was it easy to install?
Thank you! Not an overlay badge. I replaced them with new ones used a heat gun to heat up the glue and took my time removing the rear one. I have an extra set of badges but they are all black for front and rear. I am going to put them up for sale wasn’t sure what I was going to go with. Ended up going with the black and carbon fiber center ones.

Two extra pics now that sun has mostly gone down. Got some street spot lights.

Gloss is much more poppy now for ceramic coat (and ppf).
I have to ask about the ceramic coating. It makes an unbelievable difference in your photos... is it as dramatic a difference in person? What brand or type coat is this - (self-applied or professional detail shop)? What is the cost and long will the coating last? Thanks!

Hi, ceramic pro silver. I didn't go with gold. Not sure if the extra 3 coats of 9H does anything at all in terms of slickness or gloss.

Xpel for full front and mirrors.

It's a good difference but not necessarily as mirror probably than on ebony black.

I've been letting my ceramic coat cure for past two weeks... Slight dust accumulation but still looks glossy from distance. Soon to give this car a first wash...ONR+Hyperseal.... Also might try combo with chemical guys hydro suds ceramic.

Haven't decided whether to add OptiCoat instant detailer and gloss enhancer yet.

Looking forward to see results.

Your Telly will have the most protected paint on the highway. Lol

Nah. Wrap and ceramic is pretty popular. Teslas are commonly wrapped and ceramic coated.
Then Porsches, BMWs, etc.

Any ceramic coated car will be maintained differently by their owner.

I ordered GG with BS interior a month ago without seeing any pictures. Thank you for posting because this combo looks better than I imagined! Awesome!,,,

Very classy. I love the hint of color on the calipers, and it even matches your jet skis!

Did you take the calipers off to paint them or mask/paint in place?

I was going to do it myself but the tire shop was only charging $50 if you brought your own paint. They masked off and painted in place. I really wanted to get them powder coated but that was about $750. That’s like 10 trips on the jet skis 😝😝

Oh geez, as someone who's done this on another car that's totally worth it. Great deal.

Looks great, is Gravity Gray a bit blue, or is it reflecting from the sky?
