If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride with Dune Brown Leather interior

Has anyone had issues with color transfer onto the Dune Brown seats from dark denim? I really love it, but scared of the seats turning blue due to my jeans :(

That will happen with any color. You just need a good leather cleaner.

Denim is not kind to any leather that isn't jet black! I put 75k miles on one of older cars with tan leather and had no issues. You just need to clean/condition them every few months or so.

No, not with the Dune. High quality leather. But, I do use a high quality cleaner and conditioner also. Don’t be scared.

Ya... Don't be scared. Lol 😂

The brown with all the black (carpet, headliner and trim) strikes me as bit odd. It clashes. I guess black carpet is the default for all color combos to save time and money during manufacturing; therefore, the headliner must be black as well, with the exception of the black and grey interior that come with the grey headliner.

IMHO, that contrast is like a pair of khakis and a black cashmere v-neck sweater& brown Italian loafers; smart casual, yet very elegant.

The following is not necessarily in reply to the quote above.

The geniuses at Honda used to do CREME COLORED carpet with a tan interior on an Odyssey-what a disaster. Absolute filth that wouldn't come clean.

One could ask "who is the genius that bought a van with light carpet"? A fair question.
Wife didn't like the "wet cement" look of the grey interior and we both HATE black interiors (acceptable on a used car at a great deal like my 2015 H. Genesis).
Even the grey Ody had light grey carpet.

I LOVE dark carpet and many have been doing it for years this way. Even Honda has a deep tan carpet with tan seats now.
Honda also added an auto shut off on interior reading lights that kids would leave on, and you had a dead battery the next morning. That took them at least a decade to figure out.

I was all set for the butterscotch or espresso interior, but after seeing dune, it's right in the middle of not too light or too dark.
Like Goldilocks said, "just right" and wife loves the dune. That helps in deciding on the prestige pkg.

I had a verde green Alfa 164 with a delicious butternut squash interior-same yellow/tan in Ferraris. Thick like shoe leather and even map pocket on the back seat was leather, the inside was suede (the other side of split leather). I had a white 750Li with an equally delicious "peanut butter" interior (peanut butter and squash are IIK920 terms). I used to sit in there lust to look at it. My first car with cooled seats. Telluride claims "ventilated seats" but not cooled like my Genesis where the A/C blows through the seat perforations like the 750. Not a big deal, the Gen is so cold I have to turn it off after a few min which is a good thing. It works. The first gen Gen only had cooled seat for the driver- that was poor. They fixed that for gen 2.

Going to order an AWD SX Prestige,Tow, and floor mats.

I've seen a few dealers online discounting so we'll see.

I'm not sure if their price just reflects $1,000 Kia cash or not. I've seen $400 to $1400 off MSRP and I've only been looking for the last 10 days.

I will not pay MSRP at this stage of the game. Like Warren Buffett said, "the market will reward patient investors diamonds on a platter of gold."

Let me know what you find. Muncie is offering the Costco discount but the shipping to Cali eats up the savings. Where you looking?

The grey definitely doesn’t look like “wet cement” in this ride. More like white.

Will go anywhere in Cali, NV or OR if good enough deal. We need a dealer offering Costco discount type deals out west.

We have quite a few Cali customers. Top 5 state we deal with due to high prices. Dealers out in the wild wild west are ruthless!

From what I gathered so far, I know 2 dealerships that honor msrp but no Costco discount. Once you factor shipping cost will you still come ahead vs. buying at msrp?

For sure this grey is way too light for me. I wouldn't mind Sofino or other vegan leather this light because of easy cleaning and vinyl doesn't stain with blue jeans.

No. Who we lose do you have offering MSRP out west besides San Jose?

Capitol Kia in San Jose and Hilltop Kia in Richmond. Hilltop Kia seems like a smaller dealership sow I am not sure what their monthly allocation is from kia.

For those who have the Dune Brown and Prestige Pkg...what color is the premium headliner...black or grey?
